protractror

I write stories, I hope I'm getting better as I go. Watch out for unfortunate go time and Home Alone, not my best works.

E

Things are starting to get weird down in Ponyville, from what Pinkie calls "Fahnone". Watch it all unfold from the best seat in the house, Twilight Sparkle's increasingly desperate friendship reports.

Wut? :pinkiecrazy:
Humorous, but I didn't really catch on. :unsuresweetie:

Pretty clever, in a meta sort of way.

Hmm the story was fair , just, and clever,.....

or maybe just fairly clever....

This is hilarious! :rainbowlaugh:

:rainbowderp::rainbowderp::rainbowderp::rainbowderp:
I... I don't...
Um...
It was good, I guess?

Very very funny, fo' strs

... that last line... they're all screwed... litterally.

Or its a typo... ( Cue Horrible ambiguity!)

Okay, not bad for starters. I like the concept, what would happen if fanon took over canon. I don't really get the Fluttershy and Rarity thing, care to explain? Everything else is fine, by the way. So... you referenced cupcakes, eh? Not bad, but still creepy. Very... very creepy.

I had a feeling I was going off into my own little problems with the fluttershy Rarity stuff. Basically, I find a lot of sotries will be basically about 2-3 ponies, but have plots that need everypony to make sense. Since you can't always ship them on a bus like spike they usually just nod their head in group settings and don't say anything. I tried to replicate that here, but it isn't as big as a trope, so yeah.

Also, yeah... cupcakes. I usually hate that stuff with a passion as I think it really steals way too much focus from how awesome Pinkie can truly be. However, Pinkamina and too a lesser degree Molestia are parts of the fanon just like everything else sadly so I had to reference them, luckily not write about them. But I tried to keep it ambiguous so feel free to imagine everything is just a big coincidence!

...Well when you put it THAT way...

Actually, you aren't the first person to do this. There was some short lived meme a while back... "Scoot 2.0 is coming for you" or something... Basically the idea was that all of the fanon and fanfiction that the bronies were building up was bleeding into the canon universe and causing changes in personality, and whenever someone wrote a fanfiction, the ponies involved would act upon it. This meant that Pinkie tried to kill Rainbow Dash (unsuccessfully in this fic) and Fluttershy turned into a tree, and apparently someone wrote a Scootabuse fic where Rainbow pushed Scootaloo off a cloud, killing her. The result was Celestia bringing her back to life with robotic enhancements and sending her to the human world where she stopped people from changing their world at any cost...

Scoot 2.0 quickly became a meme for whenever someone wrote a fic or made art that was blatantly offensive, gory, or sexual.

39967 I got the Fluttershy / Rarity, thing, at least!

I got that from some place called xkcd, (I'm sure I botched the name), and I'm sure I didn't use all the original words, (sorry, couldnt remember them).

I've actually been trying to remember that line from xkcd too.

This made my brain hurt. :pinkiecrazy:

This scared the s*** out of me:pinkiegasp: and its really messed up how most of this wasnt original:pinkiecrazy:

The Pinkie segments made me uncomfortable.:applejackunsure:

However, I did laugh uproarously at multiple parts, especially Mo- I mean, Celestia.:trollestia:

Actually, now that I think about it, what WAS Celestia so busy with?:rainbowhuh:

Oh god. Imagine a crossover between olestia and Cupcakes. HOLY SHIT CELETSTIA WOULD CUT UP HER VICTIM WHILE RAPING AND EATING THEM AT THE SAME TIME

I like the idea of telling the story through letters, it was very interesting.

As for the story itself, weird :derpyderp1: but fun. :pinkiehappy:

That was Lovecraftian :pinkiecrazy: I loved it! :pinkiehappy:

From this I can definitely see how much you improved by the time you wrote The Brightest Timeline. This… Perhaps my biggest problem with this is that it didn't feel like Twilight, nor the way she would compose letters to the Princess, in spite of the obviously ridiculous circumstances. In The Brightest Timeline, despite the situation being rather outside anything we would see from the show, everypony felt right, like the characters would actually behave the way they did under that premise and those circumstances. I give this one a thumbs down, because to give it a thumbs up would be an insult to the amount of progress you made as a writer since this was written.
