My interest is piqued. I like the way mil-spec AU elements are blended with more FiM-familiar tropes: heavy hardware loaded with sleep spells, air evac via bat ponies, etc. I wouldn't sweat the initial downvotes. Some people have a knee jerk reaction to zomgponieswithguns.
It's well written, thus far. Entirely par for the course from the other works you've produced and I've faved. I'll be picking it back up when it gets Complete'd, certainly.
