I gave this entire thing a thorough read through and I cannot for the life of me figure out why this is such a hit with so many people. I mean, that's a lie, I totally know why and the reason's kinda embarrassing Not to put this story down too much thought, it has some good and surprisingly self-aware moments that redeem it to some degree, but the torrent of violence and brash, needless character decisions is crazy. There's so much promise in stories like this when they start off, but this one has a long way to go for me before I can really start enjoying it, just hoping all this craziness going on in each chapter is actually leading somewhere rather than just being pony-killing for teen boys to masturbate over Will give the next couple chapters a read through and hope it heads in a direction I can tag along with

Well it was going so well until I lost interest we had to kill a kid didn't you so disappointing.

Where should I start with the problems here there's no problem with the main character being evil. But you called him any kind of soldier is laughable this guy is a terrorist at best on top of that he's a terrorist that doesn't think about the future actions he makes. Not only is he surrounded by enemies and has no allies other than discord which is silly and it's clear he's being used as a McGuffin you tried to give him a moral compass which ends up falling apart or only being useful because of plot. If you want to betray him as a freer of slaves but he doesn't give a fuck when he kills a child or tortures one you might as well put them to be a full bad guy who don't give a shit.
P.S. Celestia would never trust discord ever I think most people forget this she is a thousand year old ruler who controls the Sun and that knows all kinds of magic.
