Celestia deems humans un-worthy of living. As always, humans put up a fight. Follow Pvt. Kyle as he tries to tackle this threat with his fellow Marines, along with the Air Force, the Navy, England, and Russia. Humans almost fell to an alien species, but will they fall to another?

Its when ponies try to convert humans into ponies and the humans fight back.
I like the concept of this, and am very interested in how this story will go. However, a story like this feels as though it is rushed. If I were you, I would at least give it another run; add in some more text, give a reason why Celestia would invade earth after the events of Battle: Los Angeles (my favorite movie, btw), introduce more of the ponies instead of just dialogue. Hope this helps

Okay, what Celestia has done is(or are):

I really just makes me wish there was a sequel to Battle: LA cause that movie was so much fun for me to watch.

The movie was meh-ish for me, to much general bravado and it felt like it ignored reality.
With movies like that and Battleship (which interestingly came out around the same time, I think) it just felt like they were trying to cash in on Independence Day like 10 years after it came out by making a land and naval version of it, which to me just screams that Hollywood is running out of ideas.
There's actually sequels to Battle:L.A in production and hopefully will arrive in cinemas in late 2014/2015
4259385 No battle ship came out later. The movie that came out with Battle LA at the same time was one called Skyline. Which I think the Skyline studio got sued because they used some kind of software that belonged to the other studio....idk legal stuff.
I didn't say it was citizen kane. I just said it was fun to watch.
I knew what I was getting into when I bought my ticket/the dvd and I got exactly what I paid for. Considering how many movies these days just buttfuck a simple concept its really refreshing to see a movie that just gives you exactly what you paid for and does it good enough to keep you entertained.
But I can understand if you don't like it. We all have our own tastes and that's just fine.

Yea, it was impressive to watch, but I've gotten a habit of becoming greatly annoyed when the plots doesn't add up. Like Battle LA and BB were just so... small for a real alien invasion, and it didn't really feel all the world-threatening. In both we're in danger of losing what, LA and Hawaii? In Independence Day the aliens basically nuked every major city on Earth in the first attack, and Pacific Rim (for lack of a better example) showed the aliens getting bigger and endlessly attacking everywhere. The aliens in the former mentioned movie just didn't feel that world-threatening; more akin to the monsters that hide in your closet.
It feels like the Michael Bay syndrome striking.
4259526 Well in battle LA it is alluded to that the aliens do not really care about us as most of the invasion points are in zones near water. And in one scene a scientist is seen saying something about the water level decreasing and that the aliens seem to use it to power their ships or biomechanical bodies.
So they weren't really an invasion force, more of a planetary raiding party. Which in itself is abit horrifying, our little world would utterly die if they stole enough of our water and that's probably why they fought us so that there would be nothing to stop them from stealing the water.
Another reason Celestia is a tyrant.

So, England fell in minutes, the country that has the worlds most impeneratrable tank armor, the worlds (mostly) best Royal Air Force, not even to mention Britans's naval power "does face hoof" there is almost no country in this world that could fall that easy, just saying.
