TalltalePony

I hate writing.

T

A young stallion hides from darkness and learns an important lesson about writing in the process.

A piece of metafiction, written to clear my cluttered mind.

Special thanks to Blue Dragon for her help and advice.

Rawr ima muffin daemon!
Fear my Fiber!

This was very interesting, mate. Good job.

3402947 Aye. Also, I applaud your use of the elder spelling. I believe "Daemon" has a much better flow from it than the oh-so-typical "demon".

It's interesting the range of roles Pinkie can take in a story. She's a raw, unrestrained id … with a conscience.

I swear to Luna she is some sort of pony Bodhisattva, having transcended the karmic wheel but unwilling to leave until she can bring the world with her into enlightenment.

It always surprises me when you pop up on my stories.

And yes. Yes she is. Makes things easy for the writer, I tell you what.

Oh boy, I hadn't realized this was published! I have to say, this looks tons better than the draft you showed me. You really shaped it up into an awesome story and fixed up all the things I mentioned. I didn't think you'd be able to tie it all up in one chapter, but you did it! And it didn't feel too short or too long; it was the perfect length. I commend you for that, TP. Perfect way to end it, I'll say.

I very much like the way you gave Pinkie's role more importance here, and it made me smile a bit while reading. All of the compliments I gave you before still stand, and I really think this story's amazing. And from its stats so far, under-rated. This deserves far better, considering all the work, time, and brain power it took to make it into what it is now. Seriously... Anyway, this was just great. Awesome job as always, TP! :pinkiehappy:

As a last note, I noticed a typo. It's nothing serious, but here it is:

The young stallion raised a hoof and and...

I don't have any criticism to give you this time. Ciao!

You're too kind, B.D.. I couldn't have finished it without you.

I figured it would flounder. It's not exactly focused on the most engaging topic, but I'm proud of it nonetheless. Another fic that had to be written, and had to be finished. My peace of mind depended on it.

And thanks! I shall make the correction immediately.
