I pretty much stated my review in the final conclusion, but here it is in a nutshell (with an extended list):
- very excellent and solid story
- excellent pacing
- strong, lovable, and mysterious OC
- strong character development
- a very clever villain(s) (seriously, I haven't seen a villain as cunning as Dispair since Discord)
- kept you guessing at every turn to help build suspense
- everything is explained perfectly
- the romance was not forced and played a very significant role in the story
- made us feel for characters understand their conflicts
- Derpy kicks flank! (Being a Derpy fan, that's definitely a memorable moment for me)
- Everything is so detailed I can practically visualize every square inch of an object
- The list goes on

Which ending is the best is a very personal decision. I have a pretty even amount of people who prefer happy endings, sad endings or bad endings. By giving three different possible endings, I think I sucessfully satisfied everyone.

The next story I will write is, as announced, a prequel.

It was my intention to display regular subjects living their regular lives while nightmares are going on around them. Saying someone is a deadweight just because they dont do heroic deeds is not quite fair in my opinion. He is just a little baby dragon. Have some mercy on him.

There is no "first" or "last" conclusion. Only yours.
The order in which I published them does not matter, since you would only have the chance to make such a decision once. The decision you made and the according chapter you read is your ending.

Also, there is no "canon" ending. All three are valid. All three are canon. The only difference is that one of the three conclusions happens to have sequels.
