Mere months before the Summer Sun Celebration, wheels are in motion to lay the foundations for Nightmare moon's return to Equestria. Celestia is not ignorant of these events but can't be every where at once. Beyond the borders of Equestria the out casts and their allies are working to make the predicted return of the Queen of shadows happen the way they want.
Few remember that Nightmare Moon will be freed, the matters of how and why are still shrouded in mystery. A pegasus named Sky Strike is tasked with protecting a strange pony. He soon finds himself caught up in a chain of events that could lead to the down fall of Celestia and darkness covering Equestria for eternity.

Overall, the story so far (prologue) is well-written. I can't wait to see how the situation develops. Between the lithi and shadow casters, the latter intrigues me quite a bit. They seem like the ones with a far-reaching ability in their connection with magic.

Great chapter! I have to be honest; the nightborn, Enigma and Foresight, interest me quite a bit. I'm a little saddened that this story isn't receiving adequate attention.
