This story is a sequel to Ponies of two Worlds

Star Oak is a bat pony with an unusual heritage, being a foal of a bat pony father and an earth pony mother he finds his life is full on unexpected complications. Being raised in Ponyville he knows little of what it is to be a traditional bat pony. So when Star is invited to visit his father's home colony of 'Raven's Rest' for a coming of age ceremony he soon learns that there is a whole side to his family tree that could turn Stars' world upside down.

This story is a sequel to The Fourth Star.

The 'Nightmare War' is ancient history, yet as with all tragedies the scars are still to be found. Ponies cursed with a dark affliction that has dogged them for centuries may finally have hope as Princess Twilight is tasked by her fellow rulers to find a cure.

Travelling upon the most advanced airship Equestria has ever produced, Twilight will lead a team to uncover the ancient magic, hidden history and uncomfortable truths about the nature of the world. Will she be able to find a cure before time runs out for forgotten heroes? Are some princes too high to pay to save her fellow Equestrians?

You know what? Being the only machine in Equestria with a living soul can be a real pain! All these new emotions are really tricky and I have no one to talk who understands. Twilight and Tinker Track built me to help in the past but now that task is done, what is there for me now? I wish something exciting would happen.

I should have been careful for what I wished for because things just got very strange. With hypnotized ponies everywhere and who of all races but the changelings asking for our help. Are they really sincere in their need or is this just another trick?

I would strongly recommend reading that first or you may find yourselves a bit lost, nevertheless it is a stand alone tale that can be enjoyed from the word go)

She's returned to Equestria and is starting to take her burdens and duties back on, but after so long away and with the looming regrets of her past she is finding such a task difficult. Seeking solace she explores her old chambers and confronts what she has feared to do since her return.

It can be a tough life being a diamond dog, always looking for gems and maintaining you status among your fellow pack mates. It can be especially hard when your closest rival comes to you with news that a pony has wandered onto your turf looking for rare rocks. Ponies are trouble every dog knows that, but you can't be seen to be weak now can you?

So when 'Grag' unlucky leader of one such pack, wants to 'retire' from his life of banditry he hatches a scheme to deal with his rivals and slip away with as many gems as he can carry: Using the unsuspecting Maud Pie as his means to achieve both.

Twilight seeks a cure to a curse that turns ponies into living stone, the dark magic that caused this affliction is beyond any of the princess' power to mend and so Twilight sets out to try and discover anything that can help.

Her travels bring her to a forgotten corner of the world where a powerful guardian watches over a mysterious artifact of potential for either good or evil. Does she have the mental fortitude to allow her to gain the knowledge Twilight seeks? Who is this protector that stands sentinel?

(This short story is written for "Most Dangerous game contest" for the OC alicorn entry, i normally wouldn't touch the idea of OC alicorns, but made an exception for this, enjoy)

The unicorn 'Crystal Joke' is a struggling alcoholic, his many years on the stage and touring the taverns has taken it's toll and though his professional life is going well, he's quickly falling to his addiction. When he's at his lowest point a pegasus mare by the name of 'Swift Star' steps in to catch him.

She plans to turn his life around with or without Joke's consent. Can he overcome his problems with her help?
