Chapter 8

Chapter 8 – I'v had worst hangovers.

"...Let go of my tail!" Rainbow stumbles through the door as she struggles to fling your mouth grasp off of her tail. All the while she holds the vial tightly under her wing.

"There you guys are! Twilights getting home in a few minutes an...-"

"WHAT happened?!" Rainbow's eyes shrink as her mouth hangs open in a gasp at the frost covered library.

Violet sits diaper less on the ground as she wiggles her hooves to Rainbow and you expelling a happy wheezing sound.

Spike calls out in a loud voice as he stomps his clawed foot to the ground, "Thats what I tried to tell you! Filly magic is always strongest in the morning!"

You bring your eyes around the messed up room for a moment but only give a laugh as you blink your eyes separately, "You could say its a ...sticky mess." You hold a smile to Rainbow as you poke her with your hoof, "...You know cause I have a cheesy cutie mark?"

Rainbow rolls her eyes as she pushes you up the stairs, "Spike try and....burn the library I need to get him fixed up."

Your grind your hooves against the stairs as you lean happily against the mare.

Her pushing path is brought to an end as she shoves you into the bathroom, "Take a bath with this." The pink vile is hoofed to you as she pushes you further into the small room.

You look over the bottle as you read the label, do not eat... You cap the top as you bring it to your mouth.

"No." Rainbow takes the bottle from you as she takes herself off the ground and begins to pour the liquid over you.

You give a little shiver to the sticky liquid settling into your coat, "Eww..."

She points her hoof to the brass tub as her tomboyish voice turns to a commanding sternness, "Now take a bath."

You look at the tub for a moment before you look back to Rainbow in a sad tone, "You...you don't want your prize?"

Rainbow drops her hoof down a little as she blinks at you, "...I never won."

You close your mouth as Rainbow gives a low smile and walks out of the room, closing the door behind her. You stare at the closed door for a moment before you turn yourself to the brass tub.

You don't know how long you have sat in the tub but the water is no longer a hot soothing bath instead the water is barely even warm at this point. But your mind pounds too much to leave the slight calming affects of the water as you try to push what happened this morning out of your mind. But the pounding in your head has taken on a heavy hangover feel which stops you from holding the thoughts back...

You scrape your tongue against your teeth as you try to wash the reminding rainbow strains of mane out of your mouth...whatever skittles are they taste too much like hair....

You wash the mane off into the now blue dyed water as you scrape your wet hoof to your mouth. You play over the dream from earlier trying to forget the Rainbow part of course... you try to place the voice you heard in the dream....it didn’t sound like anypony you have talked to recently and it almost sounded really...

After a few seconds of rubbing your tongue clean your ear perks up to the doors creaking. You hesitate to turn around as you talk, "Rainbow....i'm sorry I..-"

Your voice stops as you listen to the giggle behind you, "I didn't know you were expecting somepony else."

"Twilight!" You quickly turn yourself from the tub as you stare at her.

She holds her hoof to you as she talks in a low voice, "its ok, Rainbow told me about the poison joke...just try to let that potion finish before you get out ok? Also try not to think too much, that stuff gives a really bad headache." She backs away from the room towards the door as she continues, “...Oh and Celestia gave me your old human magic reports. When your done we should look them over.”

With a nod of your head you set it back down on the tub as you bring your hooves to a slow rub around your head, “ok...” Your head still pounds horribly but you stand by your answer as the door closes. But you still give a little chuckle to yourself as you think, ya don’t think so instead i’ll pound your head with spells.

You give a sigh as you savor the moment of relaxation....Rainbow told her and shes not freaking out about anything? Not even Violet's....

"Violet!"

You bring your hooves from your head as you listen to Twilight's voice echo from out of the room. But the sound does not continue... Oh Celestia Violet!

You jump out of the tub as you gallop-slide to the libraries hallways.

Your head pounds a bit as you slide across the stairs and down to where Twilight stands...the ponies mouth hangs in aw as her eyes almost look teary.

You quickly bring yourself off the stairs as the floor around becomes watery from your fur, “What? What happened?”

You're rushed heart and pounding mind fear filled mind is brought to an end as you shift your gaze to the low chiming in front of Twilights gaze that is directed to the high chair.

Violet’s horn glows a light blue similar to her button like eyes as her rattle floats around in front of her wiggling legs.

You're surprised at the cleaned room that now realize you stand in but you stop your gaze on the room as you look back with a smile to the filly's happy face.

Twilight leans her head onto you as you both stare at the little filly. You blink your eyes from Violet as you study the three toned purple mane resting against your normal coat...your mind still has its cloudy hangover pound but a thought pushes through as you lean your head onto hers. You both still watch the filly’s magic act as you lean against each other.

Well I wrote two parts for this one and this one (the first) was done in one night so ya I didn't get time to go over this one (mainly because I was to lazy to re-read and add the comas). Sad but true, hope you all enjoyed this part I figured its been a while since we had a Rainbow x guy part so it was a nice change.
