A fun-filled day at Sunny’s is interrupted by a conundrum.
A short one-shot that gives the story of Hitch's motivation and promise that leads to him becoming sheriff. It takes place three to four years after the flashback scene in G5 where they are all kids.
Peace has been restored and all is well in Maretime Bay once again. But that doesn't mean things have gone completely back to how they were, some things still need to be addressed.
Among them is Sprout's actions as emperor, and Hitch wants to make sure Sprout learns his lesson. To that end, he has his former deputy arrested and put in jail, much to Sprout's shock.
But Sprout will be even more surprised when Sunny of all ponies comes to visit him. Yet Sunny's reason for the visit is not what Sprout will be expecting. There's something very important Sunny wants to teach the stallion who used to be a childhood friend of hers.
(Featured from 1/17/22 to 1/18/22. Has an audio reading on YouTube which can be viewed here.)
Rob the earth pony has not had an easy life. Alongside his crippling social anxiety, dead-end job, and general poor looks, he also suffers from a severe aversion to a certain facet of songwriting. Sure is a good thing his fellow citizens of Maretime Bay aren't prone to bursting into spontaneous musical numbers!
... Is that an electric guitar I hear on the horizon?
A surreal (horror?) comedy about xenophobic radicalization.
Warning: Contains excessive and potentially traumatic quantities of rhymes! Caution is advised!

This story is a sequel to Wet Behind The Ears
It is a special day in Maretime Bay, but the Crystal Brighthouse is empty. Bluegill Brine has slept in, and now her friends are away. Brine is free to wander the town and enjoy the weather. The strange, beautiful weather.
A birthday gift for my friend Casketbase77. Cover art is by Ahobo.
Pipp finds something hilarious. She really, really wants to keep it.
Sprout realizes that he might've ruined everything. Now, there's only one thing left to do. Is he going to go to Sunny Starscout and apologize? Is he going to do community service? Is he going to turn himself in and go to jail?
No... Actually, he's talking to a wooden doll about what's recently transpired.
This story is a sequel to Legends Never Die
Sprout never seems to belong, though that was all he ever wanted. He decides to finally be honest with himself.

Sunny…she’s always so optimistic that she can change things here in Maretime Bay, make everypony get along, and prove a point to our system, which is inherently Earth Pony-centric.
I don’t know what the other races are like. I’ve never seen them. But from what I heard about them…I feel Sunny is going to get herself either killed or something much worse should she keep this up. She’s my only real friend here in this town and I’m all she’s got. I don’t think she truly understands how dangerous this world really is.
This is the story of me trying to live up to the mantle of a responsible sheriff, protecting the town, and my friend, even if it means protecting her from herself….
Spoilers for the general plot and ending of the G5 movie.
The return of magic also caused the Crystal Empire to appear again, but two Crystal Ponies, banished from their homeland, wish to change that.
And now it's up to Sprout to stop them, save all of Equestria's magic, and accept that his family played a larger part in history than he would have enjoyed.
Written for the G5 Bingo Writing Contest. Prompts were "Sprout + is keeping a secret from + Sweets + Crystal Ponies + School for Gifted Unicorns".
Contains a silly plot, (intentionally) butchered history, and stereotypical Swedish/IKEA-ish proper names, mostly meaning that I added a bunch of unnecessary umlauts to vowels. =P I apologize to Prince Shining Armor, Princess Luna, and all Swedish people reading this. Also contains an actual IKEA name - Älvängen/Alvangen is/was a set of lamps, including a desk lamp.
Might do something else for the cover image later - right now it's nearly 1am and the deadline is upon me, so this needs to go out NOW.
