Caught in the middle of a struggle between Equestria and a neighboring country, Blueblood finds himself alone in unfriendly territory. Through trials and hardships he finds himself under the wing of a veteran soldier, and the arrogant, spoiled stallion begins a slow metamorphosis into the prince his country needs.

Twilight is assassinated. Repeatedly. If only anypony knew what the word "immortal" meant...

Blueblood is not exactly Prince Charming. In fact, rumor gets around that he isn't very Prince-like at all.
His Aunt Luna, however, sees something more.

Equestria is not what you thought it was, and neither am I.

Through his story-like journal, Blueblood reveals a host of Equestrian secrets and offers a glimpse into the nation's precarious past and its relations with the rest of the world. The truth behind the Prince's character will shock even the most learned historian and alter the way the royal family is viewed forever.

On the day after the Grand Galloping Gala, Princess Celestia receives a request for audience from her "nephew", Prince Blueblood. What on Equestria could he want from her?

Blueblood has the distinction of being just about the only character that's roundly hated and despised by the MLP:FiM fandom. This was my attempt at a bit more sympathetic treatment of him; here, he's a proud and snobbish doofus, but not a complete douche. This is a stand-alone story, at least for now, but it could also be the prologue for a series of fics describing Blueblood's career as a questing knight, and his redemption as he learns a bit of humility, compassion and the true value of nobility.

When Prince Blueblood crafts a new magical spell, he is transported to a mystical plane of existence. There, he is informed that he is to become a full-fledged alicorn prince.

He takes it rather well, all things being considered.

Not long after becoming Equstria's new reigning monarch, Twilight receives a letter from Prince Blueblood. It's not a declaration of war from the land's rightful ruler to the unprincipled usurper who's claimed the throne, and he explains why.

Blueblood's date goes from bad to worse when he realizes that his chariot has gone missing. His investigation doesn't take long - but when the meter maid who towed it has a warship, a private army, and absolutely no respect for royals, will he get it back?

Tempest Shadow & Prince Blueblood - not fully romantic, though with potential and some flirting and innuendo. Not related to "Betraying Tempest", though the banter vibes are roughly the same. Also not a "Fast & Furious" parody - the title just clicked.
