Nopony knows much about the history of Ponyland. After the founding of Equestria, it stopped being compulsory in schools and by the time Celestia was crowned everypony had forgotten, and she never wanted to talk about it. Everypony assumed it was before she was born or she didn't remember. As Twilight Sparkle is about to find out, THIS is how brutal history could get.
Rated T for badly described gore and occasional references to sex, as well as pregnancy starting in chapter 22, so unless you're taking lying about your age to get onto Fimfiction to the logical extreme it shouldn't be too much for you. And in case the ridiculous number of somewhat-contrasting tags confuse you: Half of it is genuinely meaningful (or at least intended to be), and half is fourth wall jokes and other forms of humour. Although most of the meaningful parts are in scenarios so ridiculous that it's hard to describe it to a friend without them laughing.
