(takes place immediately after Make New Friends, But Keep Discord)

Fluttershy returns from the Grand Galloping Gala with Discord at her side. Emotions peaked, she starts reflecting on the events, realizing that maybe she did things too. Was Discord really the only one who did something wrong?

They start to talk, and Discord eventually proceeds to ask an extraordinarily odd question that Fluttershy didn't expect to hear.

When Fluttershy crawls into a cave in order to save a small rat, Angel runs off looking for somepony to help her. As luck would have it, a simple earth pony happens to be walking nearby. And that earth pony would be you.

Fluttershy, one of the most shy and kind ponies in all of Ponyville, is returning home from the spa as she passes through the marketplace. Applejack, known for her honest and hard-working demeanor, is out selling apples for the day. Neither expects today to be out of the ordinary.

As she leaves, Fluttershy's ears pick up a distressing sound. Is that a foal crying? A foal in distress is not something that can be ignored, and Ponyville's two virtuous ponies intend to help!

When the mane six go to see a Wonderbolt's show in Canterlot, Fluttershy decides to not go as crowds of that size make her too nervous. So, Princess Celestia decides to spend the day with her instead while her friends are away. The two decide to play a few simple games of chess to pass the time...

Discord has been away for a couple of months due to some royal duties from Celestia. Cause of this he hasn't seen Fluttershy for quite a while. Now that he has some free time might as well catch up.

Fluttershy has a long standing policy of not letting Discord alter reality for her benefit. She won't let him make her unfathomably rich. She won't let him give her untold power. She won't even let him make her immortal.

But she has taught him that friends are allowed to give gifts and help each other.

So if he can make everypony in Equestria her friend, then they'll just give her everything she could ever want!

But a single chance encounter can cause a pony's feelings to change and grow, and that may mark the start of something beautiful.

Lately, Discord had taken up gardening.

It was, admittedly, an unexpected hobby for the spirit of chaos and disharmony to pick up. But he'd easily justified it to himself--and everypony else who dared question--with the answer that chaos is being unexpected, and that true chaos is doing things that no one would have guessed, and so he was living perfectly up to his own nature.

He had created six unique varieties of flowers; they were completely unique to his little garden. Nowhere else in Equestria did one grow.
