After a slight misunderstanding about how far Sandbar and Yona have taken their relationship, Ocellus and Smolder contemplate how far they want to take their own.

Ocellus has checked herself in to a mental hospital and, to the confusion of the entire staff, she seems perfectly fine. They invite the rest of the Student Six over to see if they can help figure out exactly what is going on with their changeling friend.

What’s a few marks left by a friend?

Well, it all depends on what kind of marks, as far as Gallus is concerned.

Unfortunately, Smolder thinks this is hilarious.

So pucker up, bird-boy.

Thorax has had months. Months, of working tirelessly as the Ruler of the Changeling Hive and he is absolutely exhausted. He can barely stay awake when he comes to visit Ocellus at the School of Friendship to see how she's doing.

Ocellus, being the smart cookie that she is, comes up with a plan: She can pretend to be him, and he can go relax for a day.

Desperate, he accepts, but on the condition that he goes to class disguised as her and takes notes so she doesn't fall behind. After that, he can sneak off and finally get to sleep.

But then Smolder and Ember get involved.

Gallus sneaks out of the dorms into the night and is found by two of his friends, gazing up at the stars. To their surprise and confusion, he's been talking to his parents.

The Student Six have been through a lot together during their time at Twilight’s School of Friendship. As their final year draws to a close and graduation looms, though, the now older students find themselves facing one last trial.

After a magical mishap transforms them into the opposite sex, they’ll have to figure out a way to turn back before the change becomes permanent... And before the situation drives them all mad.

Spike and the rest of the Student Six visit Mt. Aris, where Silverstream can't wait to show off her culture. Her brother, Terramar, offers to take them out for a swim, but he hasn't had much experience transforming dragons. Hijinks ensue.
