But after landing, and joining the latter for some afternoon tea, Rainbow reveals to Rarity a concern she's had for some time.

Okay. Maybe not that last one.

Rainbow Dash is accepted into the Wonderbolts, and everypony congratulates her on her accomplishment. But with a six-month training camp ahead of the pegasus, a certain unicorn realizes that her time to make a move is running out- and running out quick.

All Rainbow Dash and Rarity seem to do is bicker and argue. Doesn't matter about what, not a day goes by where they don't seem to be at each other's throats eventually.

Yet they've been dating for several months and couldn't be happier. Weird, isn't it?

Applejack reached up with a fore hoof to touch the brim of her hat. It was habitual, almost unconscious. She could feel, nestled safely underneath the hat, her two most precious treasures--a single blue feather and a small snippet of purple mane.

As Ponyville prepares for the Summer Sun Celebration, a young colt runs errands. There is much to do before the darkness comes.

This is an independent story, with no connections to anything.

Rarity likes to believe that her intellect, social grace, and etiquette can get her out of virtually any situation. Trees, however, are notoriously difficult to reason with -- as is the pony who stuck her in one.

So to get her out of this, she has logic, reason, magic, careful consideration of all available options, and her true best efforts going into solving the problem.
