(Takes place within the universe of Gallus' Guard Training.)

Soon after the royal guard receives a new captain in the form of Tempest Shadow, Gallus ends up in trouble and is forced to defend himself against her. She easily defeats him, leaving the griffon cadet to lick his wounds.

As Gallus recovers, Tempest decides to disclose to him how she earned the title of captain in the first place, and how she had to prove herself against a pony who hadn't fully forgiven or trusted her. Said pony being the old captain: Shining Armor.

Recounting the story, Tempest hopes to teach Gallus an important lesson about hard work and determination. As well as what to expect when the going truly gets rough and your back is to the wall.

In this world, a powerful force has merged two dimensions to one, who would orchestrate such a move is a mystery. Canterlot High, home to the Rainbooms, have felt this weird force and are curious as to where it came from. But the school decided to throw in a special surprise, a visit to a city called Wardington. The girls never knew a city by that name, thinking it might be connected to this weird force. So they packed up everything they could and traveled to the city.

Once there, the girls would investigate where the force had originated, only to find themselves looking over each civilian and discovering these weird colored balls. Unsure as to what they are, they soon find themselves caught in the middle of their greatest discovery: the Bakugan themselves.

They would later get acquainted with the famous Battle Brawlers, as they too were investigating the same force that merged their worlds. Whilst during their visits, they would later find themselves caught in the middle of the story of Vestroia, the mystery of the Bakugan and more. They would train themselves along with their new friends how to brawl, master their ability cards, talk strategy and other tactics. Along with that, they have to use a Bakugan they chose while finding their new partners. These adventures will take the Rainbooms and Battle Brawlers all around the world, discovering the origins of the Bakugan, battling foes and save the world. This is Equestria Girls: Legend of Vestroia.

Lord Tirek is stealing Equestrian magic. DJ Flopsy Mopsy a.k.a. The Songbird, reluctant secret hero, is heading for Canterlot for what she expects will be her first recording deal. While the princesses have a plan for Tirek, DJ FM puts into effect a more pragmatic solution. Then she meets Discord. Again.

Marked teen for fighting and some blood, mostly Flopsy's, but specifically not gore because it isn't. Sometimes when you've got Princess Compulsive Disorder and you fight against overwhelming odds, do or die, you get hurt.

Like all the stories in this series, this story is written to be standalone with all important background in the narrative. This is by design and was done as an experiment to practice writing this way. The individual stories were written out of order with "standalone" in mind.

Princess Skystar has lived her entire life beneath the waves years after her people were driven into hiding by a monster known simply as "The Storm King" and given sanctuary by the undersea empire of Mu, her days spent under the tutelage of the ryu Manda and under the watchful eye of her mother, Queen Novo. One day, Skystar decides it is time to venture above the surface, after a fateful encounter with Godzilla, King of the Monsters, peaks her curiosity due to his grudge towards humankind. Upon venturing to the surface, assuming a human form, Skystar seeks to uncover the mysteries of Godzilla's hatred toward mankind as well as try to restore the kingdom her people once ruled... even if it means risking an encounter with the Storm King.

The movie wrapped things up rather nicely. But there were an awful lot of loopholes.

For example, the fact that Tempest Shadow got off with the equivalent of a full amnesty. Along with the Storm King's army. Also the small fact that the newest Princess of Equestria tried to steal the an ancient artifact from the hippogriffs. Also the rampant destruction of that bordertown. And also the harboring of pirates.

There's a lot of things that the world would like to taalk to Equestria about.

The sole two diplomats of Equestria talk about how much they would rather not talk about these problems and complain about crap.
