For Static Thunder, former human and now Knight of Equestria, life is perfect. She's getting married to the mare of her dreams, her friends and family are safe and happy, and Equestria is at peace once more. Sure, there's the usual pre-wedding jitters to contend with, but surely a wedding in Canterlot can happen without a major interruption this time, right?
Too bad for Static and her friends, but something is coming, and they aren't on the guest list.

After saving the kingdom, making new friends and defeating the Storm King, Twilight Sparkle and her friends are ready to celebrate their first Hearth's Warming since the king's demise. However when they wish their new friends a happy Hearth's Warming, they find out that they have never celebrated this holiday nor ever heard of it. Pinkie comes up with a spectacular idea to bring Hearth's Warming to them.

Tempest Shadow was broken. She'd been a magical prodigy, she'd had friends, she'd been happy. Then one day she'd lost it all. Now she was scouring the world for anything that could return what she had lost.

This is written for the May 2021 Pairing Contest. This time I chose two I wanted to meet, but never had before. This story takes place before Daring Don't. It is rather ambiguous, but I imagine it occurs before Nightmare Moon's return.

But if you want the long description, here it is: The Storm King has been given a second chance by attending a Redemption Class in Twilight's School of Friendship (with that particular class being taught by Discord because he would not stop bugging everyone about it). Of course, redeeming him isn't going to be that easy but, as you can tell by the title, he will come around (especially when there is a worse threat at stake).

In spite of the name, no, there is no Jim Carrey or Neil Patrick Harris to be found here so prepare to be disappointed if you were hoping for that. The only reason I named this fanfic like that is because it sets up the satyr-ical (get it, because The Storm King looks a little bit like a satyr) tone of the fanfic.

PS: The "Yay!" in the title is sarcastic.

What would happen if Twilight were to appear in a completely different place and environment upon her ascension to an Alicorn? Would she meet anyone friendly or instead meet other hostile beings? When Cerberus left his post at the gates of Tartarus, Tirek wasn't the only ancient enemy of Celestia and Luna to escape. Of the many monsters that poured out, among them was the first foe that Celestia and Luna ever fought as newly-crowned princesses.

Now free from his constraints and with a thirst for vengeance against the 'false goddesses', the Frumentarii Cassius is once more released upon Equestria to sow havoc in the name of Mars. He will have his revenge, even if that means a new legion will have to be forged.
