    The Teacher on Hold

My main story is going to be on hold for a while. I've just come up with another Fallout/MLP crossover and want to write it down before I lose it.

Just a hint. The protagonist this time will be supporting Caesar's Legion. What he's doing in Equestria will be later revealed, but it will have something to do with the Storm King and his army.

    Cheers.

    Fallout New Vegas Endings

Just out of curiosity sake, I would like to know who you guys sided with for the ending of New Vegas.

Comment who you sided with and give me a reason why you did it. I'm interested in seeing other people's perspectives.

well I this place is dead rip

hello are you alive

Someone else out there with an interest in seaplanes, flying boats, and floatplanes?

Dreadnought

I'm actually pretty neutral on most of my playthroughs. I mostly waiver between House or NCR, or when I feel selfish take the Wild Card route. Only ending I can't bring myself to take is Legion, even I don't destroy them myself I can't support them. I feel the endings the player is likely to take is also dependent on how you view the Courier as well.

Overall I feel the 'best ending' is House as he's the only one with a solid long term plan. The NCR and the Legion are both just opportunists, but House actually has a long term strategy for reviving both Vegas and mankind.

I originally played the game planning to betray him for Wild Card ending until I realized the Courier isn't a much better candidate for Dictator of New Vegas. His morals may be slightly better but that's more from naive optimism then anything else and unlike Mr. House the Courier is far more subject to the temptations and failings of the flesh. So I ultimately decided against Yes Man and the Wild Card ending.

The NCR was tempting, rule by democracy sounds good in theory until you take a look and see how flawed the NCR's implementation of it is. Corrupt politics at its worst, tyranny of the masses at its best. You need a firmer hand to guide the future. I much prefer the idea of Deus ex Machina House and his enlightened despotism.

The Legion are easily the worst choice. Even if you buy into to Ed Swallows rhetoric about Hegelian dialectics his Legion can only offer cultural hegemony/superiority by means of military force to the result, and House manages to achieve that via the Securitron Army far better then the Legion ever did.

So all in all my endings were: House >Wild Card > NCR > Let Ulysses Nuke'em All > Legion
