Lemon Zest has been dating Vinyl Scratch for quite some time now, but lately she finds herself growing frustrated with the lack of progress in their relationship. She feels terrible about it at first, but soon decides that she needs to have a long talk with Vinyl about it. But their discussion cuts deep, dragging up old memories that still haunt Vinyl to this day that could bring an end to their romance, and possibly their friendship.

Being an admirer of the classic arts, Sunny Flare loves the theatre. She has actually written quite a respectable amount of plays herself, aiming to be just as good as the greatest of their times. But no matter how brilliant and deep the hobbyist writer thinks her scripts are, the theatre group of Crystal Prep Academy refuses to play them. When an opportunity to actually perform and direct one of her works pops up Sunny is more than eager to take it. But as she tries to bring her vision onto the stage, she is not only confronted with the difficulties of transmitting that vision to the other Shadowbolts - but also with the flaws in her own script.

Normally, history lessons equal naptime for Indigo Zap. But the lectures about the revolution which started their country managed to pick up her curiosity. Inspired by the tales about rebels and battles for justice she is eager to start her own revolution at Crystal Prep Academy. But in her fight for freedom at the elite high school she is facing a powerful opponent. Will she and the other Shadowbolts be able to stand up against their principal? Or will Cinch smother the revolution before it even began?

A regular day at Crystal Prep is shaken up as Lemon Zest and Indigo Zap get bored during their free period. Zest's idea to relieve that? A wacky little unauthorized project in the science lab. Things take a turn for the worse when the project vaporizes the head of the school. Now the two have to prevent anyone else from finding out about it long enough for them to get rid of any evidence. Question is, who'll crack first?

Since the friendship games, Sour Sweet has been making an effort to stick with her new crew of friends. However in opening up more and socializing...she's learned more about her rapid mood swings. Her friends are supportive and after an instance where she almost hurt someone...was given proper help. She hates taking the medicine each day. It eats at her. Why isn't she normal?

Well...luckily she doesn't face this alone. More so when her metalhead friend catches her in an emotional state. Lemon may not be the best equipped for this...but she'll be damned if Sour suffers in silence.

Lemon cares too much about her to let her hurt without trying to help.

Now that Sunset Shimmer has made her relationship with Lemon Zest official, everything should be fine. But during a weekend road trip to Manehattan the Rainbooms see the perfect opportunity to test Lemon Zest and find out if she really is the right girlfriend for their best friend.

Though for the party planners themselves, the night might turn out to not be quite as nice and fun as they had wished...
