After venturing into the dark unknown to help save a poor abused girl from a religious zealous cult, the Mane Six and Spike are back again to venture into the Multiverse. Accompanied by Countess Coloratura, down on her luck after harsh comments from musical critics who believe her time has passed by, they venture into a magical world of mystery, music, and excitement.

Finding themselves in New York City in the year 1841, they meet a laid off entrepreneur named P.T Barnum who has a genius idea to put together a spectacular show to which the likes of man had never seen. On the way they will encounter much criticism from others, but a wise man once said,

"No one ever made a difference by being like everyone else"

Cheerilee is a happy mare. She has an amazing marefriend, loves her job, and overall has a happy life. 

Sure, Rara’s music career can keep them apart for some time and sure, maybe she gets a little annoyed with her students occasionally but those little things are just part of life. 

It’s not like he has any skeletons in her closet. 

Nope, Cheerilee is an unhappy stallion mare.

Countess Coloratura, or as few would know her as Rara, wants to reboot her music career. And her new manager, Sapphire Shores, has an idea that might just work.

Rick Barns, a guy who couldn't get his music career off the ground in America, has been trying to get by in Tennessee. When his new pony friend, Applejack, tells him about a new talent search to tour with Countess Coloratura, he gives it one last shot to fulfill his dreams.

But when Rick wins the talent show, he and Rara realize that they have to be a "couple" to make this happen. Looks like they forgot to read the fine print. Now one question remains: Can they make this work while trying to understand each other.

An idea someone brought up months ago that I decided to look into and work on. Tags will be added as the story goes on.

You’re relatively new to the Equestria and you’ve only recently settled down in Manehatten. (The amount of ponies who ignore the 12-foot tall armored skeleton is actually surprising.) Needing to find some way to relax and center yourself, Al (the liaison for those who have been displaced) suggests doing something, or going somewhere, to just unwind. So you goes to what you thinks is a concert. Turns out it’s an opera. Now that’s not entirely a bad thing, You like a few musicals, so how bad can an opera be?

The irony that the opera is called The Call of the King of Skulls is not lost on you thankfully. But who is this Coloratura that wrote it? And Who’s that mare that’s on the poster? Whoever she is she’s beautiful.

Rara never realized that changing her image meant a whole new road of troubles. With the backlash of fans and mountains of hate it becomes harder to remain focused on her original goal. She slowly realizes that change isn't so easy. Will she be able to find that light in the darkness that is the path she's chosen?
