This story is a sequel to Cinematic Adventures: Carrie
After venturing into the dark unknown to help save a poor abused girl from a religious zealous cult, the Mane Six and Spike are back again to venture into the Multiverse. Accompanied by Countess Coloratura, down on her luck after harsh comments from musical critics who believe her time has passed by, they venture into a magical world of mystery, music, and excitement.
Finding themselves in New York City in the year 1841, they meet a laid off entrepreneur named P.T Barnum who has a genius idea to put together a spectacular show to which the likes of man had never seen. On the way they will encounter much criticism from others, but a wise man once said,
"No one ever made a difference by being like everyone else"
Oh yes, saw this movie and love it. Can't wait to see how you do this one.

Another adventure begins
Ah yes C.A. faithful, after a rather hectic and horrific adventure involving a suffering child with telekinetic abilities, we decide to take a few steps back with a more comfortable element as we bring the girls into a realm of musical-theater style proportions. But before we even get to the meat and potatoes of the story itself, it turns out there's some trouble brewing in Equestria. Apparently, Rara's latest performances while smashingly good in the eyes of her supportive fans have no generated a 'positive' reaction amongst critics. For some strange reason, every pony is assuming that Rara is washed up and that she isn't the same artist that she used to be.
And before we go any further, I can relate to how much Rara takes their words seriously when it comes to dealing with critics. I've had several friends here on FimFic who are talented writers in their own way. And yet they always feel under pressure because they do not receive the amount of followers or likes as they hope and they are always insisting on 'pleasing' everyone even though that's not really the right way to go. I won't say any names, but while I get where they are coming from the only person who should really know they are doing an amazing job with the talent they possess is themselves. If we try to be like all the greater authors that came before us, we're constantly putting ourselves under their shadows and always spending our lives compared to their measure of greatness rather than standing on their own. Although, if anyone can guess the reference Rara makes about the shoe factory thing (While not canon to her character itself) I'll be greatly impressed if someone can figure out the relation it has.
Anyways, it won't be long before we finally get into the action where our heroes will meet a man who's been challenging the critics with his contributions to showmanship even when it seems the world is stacked against his efforts to be the best he can be. While perhaps not as historically accurate as the original portrayal, we can assure you faithful viewers this should make for a rather entertaining addition to the series.

Well, we always had the plan to reveal that Rarity and Erik are having a kid together. Initially, we were planning this for another project. But we figured now would be a decent time to make this surprise official. Plus we hoped this would be a less 'dangerous' adventure to do so.

It's a nice mashup of her old persona but still highlights her traditional true self/inner beauty. Also makes me wish to see a cover of that song in particular! "Ever since the adventures of the ‘Phantom of the Opera’, the former opera ghost Erik had constructed a colossal opera house right in the heart of Canterlot. This was his sanctuary where he could showcase his musical mastery to the entire world. He had plans to expand his business even further by constructing a theme park, but that was a venture for another day."-Glad to see Eric is doing well in Equestria!

They went to the doctor to confirm their suspicions and sure enough they were informed they were expecting. Being that Rarity was only three moths along, she wasn’t really ‘showing’ all that much. But soon enough, they could not wait to meet their little darling." -Oh Wow! The Element of Genorosity is having a baby? How exciting!
“It’s blasphemy, I tell you!” Erik said angrily. “My star’s a sensational delight upon the stage. How dare these vile cretins?! Having the gall to slander her good name.”- Woah fancy langugage!

Twilight thought over the notion for a moment before an imaginary lightbulb went off in her head. Approaching the television, she reached under the stand it sat upon and proceeded to pull out some weird device connected to the television. Soon she reapproached the group waiting anxiously.
“Celestia, Storm, and I have been working on this the past couple months,” Twilight informed. “I think it might be time to give it a test.” “Now?” Rainbow asked, raising a brow.

Speaking of whom...
Ever since Carrie had moved from Chamberlain, with Derick, to Equestria, the young girl-turned-pony had been getting out of her shell more often. She often hangs out with Fluttershy and her animals, reads books with Twilight and Spike, models for dresses that Rarity made, even sewing some of her own designs. Though, Carrie was more interested in visiting Erik, the Phantom of the Opera, who too can easily relate the horrors the young girl had once gone through.
But when she's not hanging out with her friends, one of the few things Carrie enjoys doing, was listening to some new songs. At this moment, Carrie was in her guest room, at Fluttershy's cottage, listening to a song, playing in a headphone that she got from DJ-Pon-3.

Now, my ratings just aren't what they used to be. I guess it's about time I hand in my resignation and retire with Rain Shine...just as soon as I find my successor..."
