Sunset Shimmer failed taking over the school, so now she has to see a counselor or be expelled. After one of her sessions she meets a new boy in the area and after he treats her kindly she gains a bit of a crush on him as it has been awhile since anyone actually cared enough. Too bad she had the responsibility of saving the city dropped in her lap with a school of ungrateful students treating her like crap despite her saving them again and again.

Ok, so maybe they don't know it's her saving them, but the could at least stop being so mean, couldn't they?

Her partner in all of this is one of the most annoying people Sunset has ever met though, somebody who drives her up the wall. All while she's trying not to fall apart as the one boy who showed her kindness has gone cold toward her after learning of her past and she tells him that she really did it.
