Theres A bug in ponyville choosing a pony to infect with its deadly virus that turns the chosen ponies eyes pupils FULLY red and turning the sclera BLACK. (Sclera is the white in your eye)
It also gived the chosen pony some sort of power when a ponies mouth opens, red, bloody tentacles come out of the chosen ponies mouth and into the other unlucky pony, draining most blood and leaves them with little power, Little strength and full, black eyes, and those ponies.... Those ponies soon die. Pony magic is to weak to defeat the bug, but the power of 2 alicorns is enough to send the bug away for 500,000 years.

But, What happens when the chosen pony is lunas sister.....

Now Luna must find a way to send the monsters back into the paranormal portal before Equestria is overrun by malevolent spirits seeking revenge.

It begins hundreds of years before the current episodes, during the imprisionment of Princess Luna. At the time the crystal empire is currently still in existence and King Sombra is preparing for war against Celestia. Later on in the war all the magic used in battle causes Lord Tirek to escape Tartarus and soon the war becomes even more intense. The ponies soon realize its beginning to become a hopeless fight except for a small group, the resistance who track down the elements of harmony and have to smuggle them to Tartarus, the only place where Lord Tirek doesn't keep an eye on (because he would never want to go back) plus all of the ancient evil creatures have been released causing the war to have another side. (I know facts may be off but thats so I could make it fit into my story)
