So yes as you may have guessed this is a rewrite of the season 1 episode Bridle Gossip in which I take the starting point and go wandering off towards the same general destination by an entirely different route.

This is a series of one-shot chapters that tell the stories of important events in griffon (and potentially world) history as pertains to the world built in Diplomacy for the Strong.

Chapter 1 - What is Griffonstone? How did a tiny decrepit village get the title of a Kingdom?

Chapter 2 - The Crystal Empire just accepts Cadance as their ruler? Why?

If you read these without the context of DftS, you do so with the understanding that this is expanded world-building and therefore innately head-canon territory. (Oh, and you won't really understand what's going on... so there's that too.)

Twilight asks Pinkie how she does all the stuff she does and Pinkie tries to explain it by explaining the nature of their world.

Inspired partially by the idea of CHIM from the Elder Scrolls games, one of the more meta things that doesn't crop up much in the games but very interesting.

Twilight has been in a mood lately, and after talking it over with Spike, Starlight Glimmer has an idea. Or well, they had an idea, but only she could pull it off.

This was my entry for this year's Iron Author at EFNW. I have to give kudos to the judges who pushed through 55(!) stories in one evening! The prompts for this year will be included in the comments, so as to not ruin the surprise.
