Minus the whole 'Inception' angle, this is more likely to be an actual dream one would have. A dream that's a simple but fundamentally wrong snippet of life. You don't see that in fiction too often. I like it.
I don't know what that was, but it made me laugh my ass off.
5967828 That's probably because as soon as the brain figures out that something is fundamentally wrong, it tries to fix it. Which never works inside the dream, even if you acknowledge the wrongness.
I've had those "perspective shift" dreams before. And dreams within dreams, when you wake up in-dream but it's yet another dream.
