Everypony heard the story of how Twilight and her friends managed to free the Legendary Pillars of Equestria. But little did they know they weren’t the only one’s freed. A young, lost Alicorn princess from Equestria's past. A past that not many Ponies. A past completely erased from all of history. Her name was Aurora Borealis.

Much to her luck she remained out of sight. But can she still find her sisters?

A rip in space has opened in the skies above the Everfree, and something powerful has fallen through. The entire forest has been petrified by unknown magic, and the entity responsible—only seen by a few—now appears to be hiding within its garden of dead trees and monstrous statues.

With the town of Ponyville put on lockdown, and concerns of an escaped prisoner from Tartarus worrying the surrounding lands, the Elements of Harmony now rally with the Pillars of Equestria to locate and quell these threats. Little do they know they are not the only ones scouring the woods for the source of this deadly, foreign magic.

Faced with certain peril, the heroes of Equestria must save their land by stopping a match made in Tartarus: the villain, Tirek, who seeks to drain all Equestria of magic, and this avian threat, which holds the power to drain life from anything organic.

* AU timeline where Tirek's return from Tartarus did not happen until after Starlight's redemption and the return of Equestria's Pillars. Twilight's role/castle was born from her success in reforming Stygian and reinstating Equestria's lost champions.

* Rated T for cartoon violence, mildly disturbing imagery, and allusions to death. Yveltal's powers translate to petrification rather than instant death, using the 17th Pokemon movie and relevant anime episodes as canon references.

Equestria is a magical realm of ponies and friendship, where life and love are cherished and abundant.

Over one millennium in the past, Equestria was an ancient realm of monsters and danger, with lawlessness and adventure teeming around every corner.

Celestia and Luna are young fillies with stars in their eyes, exploring the newly-formed nation while upholding their (ceremonial) princessly duties. Both are on a quest to find their place in the world.

Then, after an ambush threatens to put the stopper on their mission, they meet Sergeant Constant Vigilance: a hardly-sociable, grimly earth pony, who is assigned as their bodyguard to ensure their safety.

Together, they journey, unknowingly marching towards fate.

Millennia ago, before the founding of Equestria, a Unicorn was sent into the lands of which the nation would be built upon. He was nobody, is nobody. An imperfection, full of emotion. He enjoys the world, yet he has a desire to despise it. To torment it. One which is brought from his creation. He desires torment, not for himself but for others. He demands others to fear him, to be struck with shock and awe.

This is a tale of evil, of malevolence, of deliberate malice, of torture and perpetual pain. A story of which a nobody finds himself purpose. His true purpose. He will be manipulated, turned against the very being of which created him.

This is to be Malevolent.

The initial three chapters will feature varying degrees of comedy. It becomes darker at chapter four and beyond. Story will contain gore mostly featuring the protagonist having his bones crushed.

How does one write a story when they are so inexperienced? Well, the word everybody is looking for is improvise obviously. How will this go? Who knows, well i certainly don't have the power of foresight, it would be convenient.

This story is the culmination of pure imagination and rather grim story writing skills.

Equestria has changed as much as it has stayed the same. The ponies, while having adopted a new dialect, were as recognizable to Starswirl as they'd ever been. However, the world had spawned new traditions, inventions, foods, more creativity than he could imagine.

Apparently, to this chagrin, a mare was going to show him all of this and a little bit of everything else.

After the events of Season 8, Emperor Grogar escapes his eternal imprisonment and assembles a powerful alliance of past villains—including Lord Tirek, Queen Chrysalis, The Dazzlings, The Storm King, King Sombra, and others—united in their goal to conquer Equestria and wipe out ponykind.

When Twilight Sparkle and her friends learn of Grogar’s return, they join forces with a brave Alicorn stallion named Courageous Heart. Together, they embark on a daring quest to find the lost city of Tambelon, where they must ring the legendary Bell of Freedom—the only artifact capable of vanquishing Grogar and his minions once and for all.

Can our heroes rise to the challenge and save Equestria, or will the forces of darkness finally claim victory?

Starlight Glimmer is feeling worried about one thing: she remembers when she failed at making Chrysalis, the Changeling Queen, join her and the others. With that, every changeling was reformed but her, who got her chance to escape.

It's been so long since that happened. But Starlight is not going to give up.

And she will fix that issue with a scroll she used some time ago...

An ancient spell activates, sending them into the distant past. Now, with no way home, forced to live through events of the past, two ponies try their best to stay out of history's way. However, things don't go as planned when they get pulled right into the middle of a war between the immortal alicorns and mortal ponies. All while a mysterious wendigo claiming to be a king attempts to change history.

Try not to get too overwhelmed as there is only one chapter each month except for May which gets a double.
