A person is sent into an Equestrian universe as a human named 'Baked Apple', but this new world is not like Equestria or EqG. It's inhabited by human versions of the ponies in a world not too dissimilar from the visitor's own.

It's a crossover because the human counterparts of characters from other MLP universes live in this story's universe.

Though she only met the rainbow-maned filly a little while ago, Applejack thinks she’s got Rainbow Dash all figured out: she’s bold, she’s mouthy, and she has penchant for napping in spots where she really shouldn’t. In all honesty, Applejack tolerates Rainbow more than she likes her. But when she finds her sickly and lacking her usual spunk, Applejack realizes she holds the other filly dear to her heart.

Nobody revealed how exactly Pear Butter and Bright Mac died, but it most likely had something to do with the feud between the Pears and the Apples. We all know how it all started: a rivalry between the two families, one favoring pears over apples. This caused some tension between Granny Smith and Grand Pear, which caused arguments left and right. It's like they never got along, letting their rivalry get in the way of everything else. This caused tension for the two star-crossed lovers, Pear Butter and Bright Mac, ending in the worst way possible.

The Apples find themselves in an unlucky situation and in need to explore what some might consider a risky solution.

One which will bear unexpected fruits further down the line when our protagonists learn to get in touch with their inner selves.

Granny Smith built a legacy, she was the matriarch of the Apple Family for a long, long time. She is nigh 200 years old, and she knew that it would come soon.
