My entry in the Ponyville Ciderfest 2023 anthology book, Scattered Pages: Tales from the Book of All Stories.

When an all-powerful book of destiny, The Book of All Stories, was opened, the worlds of Ponies and Humans converged at the Ponyville Ciderfest convention center. The book's pages scattered themselves across time, space, and infinite dimensions. Whoever attains a page of the book can rewrite history and reality at will. (For more detail, read the prologue story here: https://ponyvilleciderfest.com/opening-from-scattered-pages/ ) A nightmare entity gained access to a page and used it to escape from the dream world. An unlikely team consisting of A.K. Yearling, Doctor Caballeron, Discord, and Ciderfest Mascot Fizzy Glitch, must pursue the monster into cyberspace. What they find there, as well as the catastrophe they must prevent, is far beyond anything they could have imagined.

Reading Trouble in Tiatarta is not necessary to enjoy this story, but you should probably read Queen Chrysalis Reforms (Accidentally)

Rainbow Dash is certain she's about to have the best week ever! She's gotten a letter from her idol Daring Do, inviting her to an expedition to the ancient Centaurian ruin of Midnight Castle to retrieve a lost Equestrian artifact! A daring adventure with Daring Do? What could go wrong?

Well, for one thing, Doctor Caballeron could show up, chasing after the same artifact. For another, Lord Tirek and Cozy Glow could show up too, with their own nefarious plans. Wait, but they're supposed to be in Tartarus!

Maybe this isn't going to be such a great week after all...

Dr. Caballeron had once again taken hold of an artifact of evil darkness, and it's up to Daring Do to stop him and return the artifact to their daughter.

Contains DaringXCaballeron. Daballeron. It's now the official shipping portmanteau and you can do nothing to make me think otherwise.

The original version of this story placed sixth in the March 2020 WriteOff contest with the nonsense syllable "Ot" as the prompt, and this rewritten version was my entry in the Original Pairings group's 2020 May Pairing Contest.

The Kumquat of Aris, the fruit of legend. The thing dreams are made of.

Daring has heard about this ancient fruit in her childhood but was never ready or able to see this fruit for herself. Until now.

Daring is going on her most personal mission yet to find this magical fruit that she has wanted to see all of her life. Now there is only one question.

Will it be worth it?

I wrote this story for an Iron Author contest. It was my first time trying something like this, and I hope I did a good job.

It has been 800 years or so since a new layer of the dream realm formed, and in those 800 years a new visitor to Equis has been learning about the world from those inhabitants whom it can pull into it's realm.

Much to the surprise of Luna, this being is more than meets the eye and is certainly powerful, to an extent. Do they mean any harm, or do they have something more sinister planned? there is only one way to find out...

This story contains inspiration from bloodborne and in turn, H.P.Lovecraft with my own twists and changes to make it more my own.
spoilers for later chapters: this will be revealed as a human in equestria, though not via some kind of merchant or some such. death, gore, violence and swearing tags are for what will likely come in the future.

Discord went through a brief "arts and crafts" phase a few millennia ago, but even he knew some of his creations were too dangerous to be left lying around. So he buried them someplace where he figured nopony could ever find them again, and he moved on with his life.

He didn't count on the intrepid Daring Do coming along and messing things up...

Caballeron's sources had led him to believe Daring Do would be found at this convention, but he was scarcely prepared for the outright celebration of his rival!

Not just the costumes, or the goods, but entire discussion panels devoted to those wretched Daring Do books.

Although... it seemed there was one panel devoted to him!

While Daring Do is busy stopping Ahuizotl from doing whatever it is he's trying this time, Dr. Caballeron decides it's the perfect time to go treasure hunting. With his greatest foe distracted, nothing can stop him!

Tempest Shadow was broken. She'd been a magical prodigy, she'd had friends, she'd been happy. Then one day she'd lost it all. Now she was scouring the world for anything that could return what she had lost.

This is written for the May 2021 Pairing Contest. This time I chose two I wanted to meet, but never had before. This story takes place before Daring Don't. It is rather ambiguous, but I imagine it occurs before Nightmare Moon's return.
