After the anonymous tampering of time, every known universe is destined for erasure. And with the princesses and familiars dead in Equestria, Twilight seeks out help from an old foe, and even an old friend, in desperation. Equestria is hungry for saviors, and the prophecies can't possibly have lied.

During a walk around Canterlot Market, Celestia take notices of two young ponies working together to get food they need to live. When one of her guards try him some younger ponies the two stand up to him. Celestia discover that they are orphans and take them in to live in the castle. With Jazz and Phantom (names of the two ponies) now living in the castle, Celestia and Luna life are turn upside down. But can these two young ponies change a darkness that lies ahead?

Breezefeather is just an average pegasus pony with aspirations of being the next lead weathermare. However, before she could even think of that, a portal opened up and took her to a brand new set of worlds to explore. Thankfully, there wasn't much hurry as Breezefeather had a plan to get herself home. What will she do, though, when she notices that the city she's been sent to has a ghost problem? Sunset Shimmer, after being relentlessly bullied by her peers at school because of the Anon-A-Miss incident, comes to her apartment, drunk out of her mind. In her stupor she accidentally drops a lit match and set's her entire room on fire, dying in the process.

However, instead of passing on to the other side, her soul became trapped in the inferial plain known as the ghost zone.

Here, Sunset will meet and befriend some of the ghosts that lurk inside and she will to keep the ecto-energy inside the ghost zone from corrupting her mind.
