//------------------------------// // Greetings from the Ghost Zone Part 2 of 4: Meeting the Many Ghosts of the Ghost Zone // Story: Sunset's Ectoplasmic Adventure: Story #1: Greetings from the Ghost Zone // by Dalek-Galvo //------------------------------// Sunset was in the back seat with Wendigo while Spike was taking them to their designated part of the Ghost Zone when she felt something vibrate in her pocket. When Sunset got it out, she saw that it was some kind of Ghost-Zone Phone that was labeled as The Malevolent Messenger. "Oh, it looks like you got a message," Wendigo said, looking at the phone. "Hey, don't eavesdrop," Sunset said, getting the screen out of her line of sight. "It's impolite to eavesdrop." "Sunshine, in the Ghost Zone, there are no rules," Wendigo said as a briefcase appeared in her hand. When Sunset looked into the phone's screen, she saw Applejack walking back home, and when she got to the entrance door, there was a message written in Apple-Sauce that said, "Confess, Sinner." "Confess, for what? I did nothing wrong," Applejack said as she opened the door. Just as AppleJack got back inside, her oven started vibrating violently, then it started shooting hot apple pies at her at Mach 4 speed. Then knives started levitating and launching themselves at Applejack, but she missed all of them. "What in sweet nanny is going on?" Applejack shrieked. Then she heard a child-like voice say, "Eaaaaat meeeeeee." Applejack turned around and saw an apple sitting on a plate. "Eaaaaat meeeeeee," the ghostly voice said again. But as Applejack got closer, the apple then grew a grim face with green eyes, and then it grew arms and legs made of roots. "Eat me, eat me, EAAAT MEEEEEEE!!!" The apple said as it jumped on Applejack's face and started to knaw at her. Then AppleJack put the apple in a blender and watched as it was torn to shreds, with ectoplasm coming out instead of applesauce. Then more haunted apples appeared outside her home; all of them were laughing at her. "Why are you doingg this to me,, apples?" Applejack squealed in horror. "I helped grow you." "You cooked us,, Applejack; now we get to cook YOUUU," the Evil Apples chanted as they were clawing at the windows. Then Applejack ran up to Apple-Blooms room. "Apple-Bloom, we’ve got to get out of here. The apples, they're alive," Applejack said in fright. "What are you talking about,, Big Sis?" AppleBloom said,, shocked. "There's nothing wrong." "Nothing wrong...NOTHIN WRONG, OF COURSE THERE'S SOMETHIN WRONG," Applejack roared, causing Apple-Bloom to flinch. "Big Mac then came into the room. "Big Mac, help,, she's gone crazy," AppleBloom cried. Then the screen on Sunset’s phone faded to black. “What just happened?" Sunset asked Wendigo. “Well, as I have seen, it seems that you have put a curse upon Applejack,” Wendigo said. “What does that mean?" Sunset asked. “Well, a curse is afflicted upon anyone that you feel extreme rage towards,” Wendigo said. “And even better about all of this is that only Applejack can see the curse, so the rest of her family will think that she’s two seeds short of an apple pie.” “Oh, will it ever wear off?" Sunset asked. “Only when the target of the curse accepts its sins and pleads for forgiveness,” Wendigo said. “And judging what I see from Applejack, I doubt that will ever happen.” “Oh, I so hope it happens,” Sunset said with a face of annoyance. “So, how’s Rainbow-Dash? Is she as arrogant as ever in the living world?” “Oh, she’s here too,” Wendigo said. “But we’ll meet her later.” “Wait a flipping minute; Rainbow’s dead too,” Sunset shouted. “I will tell you when we get to her, but right now, we are about to cross the door to the realm that Pinkie Pie is in,” Wendigo said. "Oh, ok,” Sunset said as the door opened, and once they came through the portal, Sunset was in for a surprise. Sunset saw that this realm was full of candy, with an ocean made of chocolate. “Of course, Pinkie’s Realm would be made of candy,” Sunset said. Then Sunset saw a sign at the entrance of the realm that said, “No Apple’s Allowed.” “Why is that sign there?" Sunset asked. “Beats me,” Wendigo said. Suddenly, Sunset would see some kind of pirate ship made of candy. The candy ship had skeleton’s that were made out of various sweets. And out of all the Candy Ghost Pirates, Sunset recognized one of them most of all. “Is that pinkie pie?" Sunset asked. "It looks like it,” Wendigo said. “Well, let’s go down there and say hello.” As Wendigo ordered Spike to let them land on the candy ship, they were surrounded by candy ghost pirates. “Who goes there?" one of them said. “Who dares set foot on Captain Candy’s ship?!” “Oh, it’s just me,” Wendigo said. “And I brought a friend with me.” “We’re looking for Captain Candy; is she around?" Wendigo asked. “The Captain is in her quarters,” a skeleton with a peg-leg made of Graham Crackers said. “But I will go get her now.” As Sunset and Wendigo were waiting, Sunset noticed a spark coming from her phone. Thinking that it was going to explode, she dropped the phone. However, instead of it exploding, she saw a pulse of electricity exit the phone. “Yahoo,” the being of electricity said. “I love these new ghost powers.” As soon as this electricity ghost spoke, Sunset knew where that voice came from. "Rainbow-Dash,, is that you?" Sunset said. "Sunset,” the Electricity Ghost said as it began to take on a human form. “Wh-what are you doing here?" Sunset asked. “Oh, umm, it’s a really long story,” Rainbow-Dash said. “So, how did you get this way?" Sunset asked. “Ugg,” Rainbow grumbled. “It’s all Applejack's fault!” "What? Tell me what happened,” Sunset asked. “Well, it was after we found out that Scootalo and her friends were Anon-A-Miss,” Rainbow said. “After I found out, I sent Scootalo to juvenile detention immediately after giving her a lecture. Rarity did that too.” “Applejack, however, wouldn’t listen to reason,” Rainbow said. “She said that if AppleBloom was sent away, her family would be devastated. Then I said,, If AppleBloom and her friends didn’t do this Anon-A-Miss crap, none of this would be happening.” “Then she just started screaming and telling me to just keep quiet about the whole thing and to tell the officers that it was just Scootalo and Sweetie-Belle at fault,” Rainbow said. "What? I can’t believe AJ would throw you and Rarity under the bus like that,” Sunset screamed. “And Princess Twilight said she was the element of honesty; human Applejack doesn’t have an honest bone in her body.” “No, it’s because of Applejack and her stupid pride,” Rainbow said. “Anyways, I was at my house, taking a bath, and I don't know know how Applejack did it, but she had rigged a piece of string to the faucet. And when I turned it, a curling iron dropped into the water,, and I was electrocuted to death.” "She... did... what?" Sunset roared in fury, the flames in her hair intensifying. “Oh, just wait till I get my hands on her; I’m going to.” "Sunset,, stop; just calm down,” Rainbow said. “I also wanted to tell you that I’m sorry about all the horrible shit I said and did to you during that time.” “I admit, I was a complete asshole for pinning the blame on you, even though there was no proof that you did it,” Rainbow said. “Will you forgive me?” “Rainbow, even though what you did to me was inexcusable, I’m just glad that you knew what you did wrong,” Sunset said. “So, I will forgive you.” “Yeah, Applejack’s also the reason I’m like this,” Pinkie Pie said as she came out of the ship. “Applejack said that she needed to talk to me about something, and when I came to the cliffside where she wanted me to meet, she wanted to ask if I thought that Sunset was Anon-A-Miss.” “Well, what did you say to her?" Sunset asked. “I said that I never thought that you were Anon-A-Miss and that I just played along so no one would bully me,” Pinkie Pie said. “Then Applejack said, “Any friend of that traitor, Sunset, is not a friend of mine, and she pushed me off the cliff.” Sunset was trying her hardest to control her anger. How could Applejack do something so horrid to Rainbow-Dash and Pinkie Pie, especially Pinkie Pie? However, before Sunset could ponder any further, she heard a voice behind her: “BEWARE!” “Who said that?" Sunset said as she turned around, only to see a fat ghost levitating three boxes. “I AM THE BOX GHOST,” The Box Ghost said. “PREPARE FOR YOUR SPECIAL DELIVERY OF DOOM!” “Not this creep again,” Wendigo said in irritation. "Look, Crate Creep, you better buzz off now.” “I AM THE BOX GHOST,” The Box Ghost Wailed. “WILL YOU STOP THAT?" Wendigo roared. “Is he always like this?" Sunset asked. “Yes,” Wendigo, Rainbow, and Pinkie said in unison. “Wait a minute, Rainbow,, how did you know where we were?" Wendigo asked. “Well, another ghost told me,” Rainbow replied. "What ghost?" Wendigo asked. "Well, he was wearing a cape; I mean, he acted like one crazed Fruit-Loop," Rainbow Dash said. “Who, tell me the name—who, who, who,” Wendigo demanded. “I think his name was Vlad Plasmius,” Rainbow replied. "No, not him, anyone but him," Wendigo said with a face of fear. “OH NO, THE EVIL ONE, BEWARE,” the Box Ghost said as he ran away. “Who is Vlad Plasmius?" Sunset asked. However, Sunset was unaware of the looming ghost that was watching her from afar, plotting to use her to finally defeat the Ghost Boy, Danny Phantom.
