The mustangs are one of the oldest communities in Equestria, but hardly anything is known about them. All records and information are vague at best, but what is available is concerning. They live outside, use primitive stone tools, and eat grass from the ground like livestock.

Scientific curiosity piqued, Twilight ventures to the plains of Mustangia to see the mustang ponies for herself and introduce the modern world to a community trapped in the past.

But history points to a dark secret hidden just underneath the idyllic surface of the rolling hills. If Twilight digs too deep she may find something that was better off buried....

Demons were once merely a myth. But now, they are all too real.

Scribe Twilight Sparkle is content with her position within The Order, simply documenting and cataloging various menial pieces of information. It's a life she couldn't imagine being any different.

However, when a veteran Demon Hunter arrives at Monastery Firelight, and she's at the wrong place at the wrong time, she's thrust into a new, terrifying and dangerous world. One that has always existed beneath the veil of her previous life.

Now, instead of shying away from the darkness, she must face it head-on.

Cherry Pie is having a bad day life. She left Equestria in hopes that Earth was better. It's not. Now she's broke, homeless, and grazing on clover.
