No one said friendship was easy...a lesson Twilight is about to learn the hard way. How can she get two friends to reconcile when one threw the other under the bus for a PIG? Also, how can she handle feelings that are both inappropriate...yet feels so RIGHT? More importantly...who is 'The Beast with one Eye?' and what are his plans for Equestria?

This is a compilation of three pieces I've written, partially to work through the word count limitations Fimfiction insists on. Each is, to put it honestly, a story written for a character's backstory: Chosen Heart, Blindfire, and Collelia. But each is also a very personal piece, and each is experimental in their own ways. I hope you enjoy.

The first is a piece depicting a crystal pony mare following the return of the Empire, struggling with her life after Sombra's enslavement of her homeland and being plucked from time. This is not a happy story, possibly not even fully coherent. This is a story of gray, of color washed from the world, and of how one small thing can touch the hearts of those we may never even know. This is a story where the end is the beginning.

The second is a piece depicting a blind zebra stallion soon after his life came crashing down. A journey to the land of Equestria gone afoul, a lifetime's wandering come to a turning point as a lifetime ends. This is a tale of grief, of sorrow, and of hope. It is one of my more unique stories, as its written entirely through monologue and stream of consciousness thought. At no point is there narration in this story. This is a story where the end is the beginning.

The last is a story of ascension told many years and lives past, of a legend who walks the world with cinders at her hooves. This is the tale of an epic war, a struggle for survival, and of the sacrifice of a single mare. Of Entropy's cold embrace, and of the mare who sacrificed all she was in Devotion to those she loved. A mare who, many years and lives later, would write her legend in liquid adamantine. This is a story where the end is the beginning.

Everypony has magic. The unicorns have the power of spellcraft, Pegasi hold dominion over the wind and weather, and Earth Ponies bond with nature can do countless things. But how does it all work?

Sweetie Belle knows how a unicorn’s magic works, she is one after all. But how do pegasi fly? How does an Earth Pony grow apples that taste better? THey probably went over this in school but since when has that stopped young students from thinking about literally anything else?

Yet to be featured but I know we can do it!

What happens when a mare turns herself into a living weapon? A villain is born who struck terror in Equestria's heart, conquered the land, and proved unstoppable until faced with the true magic of Friendship. But she faced Friendship, and though she accepted it she is still a mare feared across the world. What does one do with such a mare? Twilight's answer is simple: Let her fight an army. Its no good to let one's skills dull, after all.

An unrepentant excuse to write Tempest facing down overwhelming numbers. Because I find the idea of someone that flashy and skilled in combat being thrown against ever increasingly ridiculous opponents to be endlessly amusing, and I could use the practice writing fight scenes. If you've ever wanted to see what happens when someone mixes the recent Wonder Woman movie's fight scenes with Devil May Cry level cockiness, come right in.

This story takes place a few months after my story We might look like a couple so there might be a few references smashed all up in it.

After the events of 'Grannies Gone Wild', a somewhat outraged Granny Smith disembarks to give her overprotective grandchild Applejack a piece of her mind. How will this encounter unfold? Well, that's what you're here to find out, isn't it?

For centuries, ponykind thought Princess Platinum's splendorous silver crown lost for all time, but it has been found. Twilight Sparkle, the self-proclaimed Princess of Thieves, has tracked it down to the long-fallen Diamond Dog kingdom of Erebark, and means to enter the mountain to retrieve her kin's lost heirloom and settle scores with Princess Celestia.

Unfortunately, there are one or two details she didn't realize going into this mess. Namely, that she'll need to steal from the gilded gallery of one of the mightiest dragons ever to walk the land.
