It just occurred to me that yesterday was, according to Fimfiction, my second year anniversary on the site, and basically my second year in the fandom.

Completely slipped my mind.

I had to rewrite it three times, I changed my mind many times and I ended up writing a chapter twice as long as I foreseen, but in the end, the chapter 07 of the Mare in the Warp is coming. I think it should be ready for next weekend (not this one... that is ending today... sorry).

I certainly want to keep all rights to my own story, which means that I'll practically be ruling out every major publishing house there is.

I guess I'll self-publish, then. I can handle writing and editing myself, I can join some reviewing groups to get the thing proofread, maybe stir up some hype with Kickstarter and some marketing muscle, and partner up with a printing company to get the thing rolling into stores.

I'm still awake at 1 AM. I was bored, so I searched up the city I used to live in on wikipedia.

I used to live just a bit down the road from an IM Flash Technologies factory.

Turns out that same factory makes about 1 in every 14 flash memory chips in the world.

Also, the entirety of Utah's population is centered around Lehi, which I know from personal experience has been nicknamed "Silicon Slopes" to compete against California's Silicon Valley.

Things got really busy over this weekend, I haven't had any time to finish the last tidbits of the chapter. I know I said it would be out tonight---it's not ready yet. I am waiting on revisions to a final scene, as well as time to actually put everything together. The chapter itself is about 80% finished, and I will post it when I have time. Continuing my review montage with a look back at the Season 6 finale.

I'm one of those people who has loved each finale more and more since Season 4. I know a lot of people may probably disagree with me on that given the divisive reputation that The Cutie Re-Mark has developed since it aired. But I still personally love that finale and this one managed to even top that one for me. I've made it obvious in the past that I love this finale.
