So by the story of Season 4, Tirek had escaped from Tartarus, but he had become so weak that it took so long for his magic to recover to begin stealing magic. Good things come to those who wait. I can't believe that I really worked on a story on Hearth's Warming Eve of all days, but here I am, that's what I did. I'm crazy. I'm insane. Call me a lunatic. So, the word has come down and it's official: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic will be ending after Season 9. We still have a couple of rumored TV specials afterward, but as far as a regular TV show goes, it's all over. The new MLP movie Hasbro announced during Toy Fair will most likely be the start of Gen 5, and who knows what form that will take.1
Ominous title, eh? Though unlike the Premiere, this is far from a serious, stakes-high episode. Only from Twilight's perspective could this be considered something of that magnitude. Anyway, as always, let's dive in!

Uh so I actually finished my rewatch of the whole series a long time ago and was just lazy writing my thoughts on a couple episodes which delayed the whole posting so uhhhhhhh woops hopefully the Season 9 review is out in much less time. Anyways.

As promised, I have promptly returned once more with my predictions for the feature film My Little Pony: The Movie. The film premieres October 6, 2017. Still plenty of time until then. A few weeks ago though, we received a whole glut of information regarding characters and plot that I have waited eagerly to discuss.
As of today, it has been a whole month since I wrapped up The End of an Era (Series Finale Rewritten). I want to say that while I'm (mostly) content with what I wrote (and modified) for that story, and I've voiced the multitude of complaints I have with The Ending of the End, the episode it's based on, in the Author's Notes, I still feel like after all these years, I need to construct a single place to put all of what I've said together and convey my full feelings of that two-parter in one,
