Hello, everyone! So, you might be wondering what I mean by the title. If some of you read my recent chapters or my most recent blog, you would have seen in my announcements that I was going on a trip to Japan. It was a student exchange trip that lasted about 10 days, and as much as I am talking about it casually, it may sound like this wasn't a big deal.
It was.
Been awhile since I made an update, partly due to my job.
With the 4th of July approaching here in the US I’ve been busier than ever at work trying to get things sorted. Sadly this has had the additional effect of draining me week after week, so sadly progress on Chapter 10 has been slow going.
Hopefully once all this holiday madness is done with I’ll be back to my old self! It’ll just take some more time is all.
Several exciting updates to share! Firstly:

Secondly, as the odd title implies, we have shed the savage ties that bind me to the binary realm--ie., I just put out a paperback book!
I know my OC story is still incomplete, but I want to write another story while trying to figure out what to do with the OC story. The new story wouldn't be too long and it doesn't include any OC's. It would be a slice of life type of story, almost a romance between two mares. I don't want to give away too much, but it's not that common pairing in my opinion. It would be a cute, heartwarming story with a potential for a sequel if people like it.
So Chapter 7 has finally been updated, only three more to go, and I'm making good progress. While I had announced that I'd hoped to have a new chapter up by the second week of April, sadly, that does not seem to be possible.
I'm not going to make excuses, nor can I discuss what has happened, but let's just say certain issues have demanded more of my attention than I'd anticipated. Thus, why my progress has been slowed.
Rest assured that a new chapter is coming.
Oh yeah, it's new cover art time. It's based loosely on a scene from next week's chapter. Don't worry, the old cover's still gonna be accessible, probably in like the first prologue or something.

I feel like I owe y'all a blog post so everyone knows what's going on. Red 36 is not dead and neither am I. (You go thinking "Gee, it's early enough in March that I shouldn't have to make a blog post" then suddenly half the month is gone) For one, I got my Wisdom Teeth removed a couple (three?) weeks ago and the pain and the meds were making it really hard to finish up the chapter. Here’s an interesting thing regarding Trench. I’m noticing that a lot of my readers like it, and I’m glad. About every 7 people that visit the story drop a like.
Anyways, I’m here to tell you that I might not follow the album exactly, I said it was loosely based off Trench, and I can tell you why.
I waffled on whether or not to post this blog because after I finished it, as I felt like it had served its purpose as the only form of journaling that I’ve enjoyed. Plus, it’s like therapy for me. Then, as I was perusing YouTube, I came across a video.
EQG:SAO TUESDAY HEADLINER! The name of Tuesday's Episode is "Duel". I have been looking forward to you guys reading Episode 23 for a while. I won't give you anything more than the Episode name. Which fits the entire episode. Care to make your guesses as to what happens?
Alright, so that story I wrote somewhere back in late 2015 / 2016, I'm Still Here, I have some news about it.
Just watched today's episode. Why was this a thing? I was laughing so hard I was in tears. Also, I think this was the most Big Mac has ever talked. I'm glad that he was a focus character for the episode with Applebloom. It always seemed like he was a background character most of the time or loose side character a few other times. This was cute and touching and was funny, even though it was a ridiculous episode. I mean, Big Mac in drag talking like a high class country pony.
Though I made some additions and edits, and will probably make a few more during this weekend's editing passes, the chapter belongs to Denim_Blue, so he gets to write the author's note and reply to comments on it. I'm very lucky to have a pair of prereaders who have contributed to the story not just with edits and comments, but by offering up their species headcanon for the story's use--AJ_Aficionado for the thestrals, and Denim_Blue for the Changelings. It's time for the latter to take center
Okay, so I didn’t actually finish writing chapter 3 of The Secret of the Crystal Ponies while I was gone, but I got a lot of it written, so yay! 
It’ll definitely go up before the end of August.
I surprised myself a bit by knocking out a vast majority of the latest chapter in the last couple days and, in light of some recent feedback, I'd like to start looking harder for a prereader. If you feel you, or anyone you know, would be helpful in this regard, please let me know. It'll help chapters get written faster and make sure the quality of the story continues to improve. I've tried reaching out to the active prereaders from other groups, but my story doesn't fit with their preferred
Hey guys I just wanted to say thank you for all the support and likes and faves and now on to the important stuff.
Out of my 39+ stories that I have, only 15 have been submitted so far, and of those two are incomplete and three in Hiatus.
So basically I have only ten complete stories right now.
All the rest are a work in progress.
So don't worry if it takes a long time for the next chapter or whatnot because it will come, eventually.
