    Entry #63- Serious Stress

I should’ve known better than to plan a fanfic update so close to Valentine’s Day. :ajsleepy: For those of you not in the know, I work retail- in a card store no less- so as holidays get nearer, my free time shrinks. So I don’t have that chapter update of The Last Unicorn Princess ready, nor do I think I will be done by next weekend. I’ll try to post it before February ends.

    Entry #62- Abashed Apologies

:raritycry: Sorry sorry sorry, I don’t have the next chapter of The Last Unicorn Princess ready to post- although I’m sure longtime followers kind of expected this of me. :twilightsheepish: I had a lot more real-life responsibilities come up that made juggling my projects all the more difficult- but I will post the next chapter- with illustrations- next Sunday. :rainbowdetermined2:

    Entry #61- Short and Sweet

Just a quick update this week!
Gonna divide the next chapter of The Last Unicorn Princess into two, so you’ll get an update by this time next week, and another in early March. The chapter illustrations I’ll add a week after this chapter release- as I’m playing catch up with a lot of other art projects.

Like, for instance, my ask comics on Tumblr! Here’s this week’s queue:

    Entry #60- Slippery Start

    Happy New Year, Everycreature! :pinkiehappy:

Often new years are supposed to a time to start new routines and resolve to be better at taking care of yourself. It’s already halfway through January and I feel like I haven’t kept up any of my resolutions. :fluttershysad:

    Entry #59- Weary Words

I didn’t update at all in November- sorry about that. When the holidays roll around after Halloween, it gets harder and harder to make updates. :raritycry:

Entry #54- Functional Friendships? · 5:48pm Aug 5th, 2018

Okay, so I didn’t actually finish writing chapter 3 of The Secret of the Crystal Ponies while I was gone, but I got a lot of it written, so yay! :yay: It’ll definitely go up before the end of August. :raritywink:

I have been pretty consistent answering weekly asks from my pony blog. :rainbowdetermined2: I think illustrating two to four lines of dialogue is a touch easier than writing out a story arc- for me, at least. :twilightblush: If it’s something that sounds interesting to you, you can ask me or the ponies close to me a question! :pinkiehappy:
Right now, these are the ponies waiting for an answer:
askbananapie
askmotherlyfirefly
keirastarlightdraconequus

After I finish these three asks, I’ll be ending the birthday asks and moving on to something different. :moustache: Feel free to ask me about where I’m going! :twilightsheepish:

And now for my thoughts about season 7 episode Uncommon Bond! :duck:
“If you wannabe my lover, you gotta get with my friends.” –Wannabe, Spice Girls.

Yeah, I ship Sunburst and Starlight, but this episode didn’t make it easy to. :trixieshiftright: Starlight was being really clingy, and seemed to assume that they could just pick up their relationship where they left it back when they were foals. :fluttershyouch:
As people grow up, they experience new things and get new interests. :unsuresweetie: Some interests may last forever, and some may just become a fond (or embarrassing) memory. :derpyderp1: Lasting friendships will likely stay together when you generally care about the other person enough to try a new interest with them, and vice-versa. :scootangel:
Sunburst was a pretty bad friend as a colt to not keep in touch -did even Starlight try to write keep in touch with Sunburst? :flutterrage: If not, she may be guilty of this too. :rainbowderp: I can understand Starlight’s worry about being abandoned again, but her current friends are not likely to “steal” her from him. :trollestia: Having people in common can help a friendship, too- which is how I met a lot of my current friends.
I’ve been rambling on a lot, so I’ll end with the petty thought that I kinda enjoyed Starlight being put in the same position as Twilight was, back when Starlight thought of Trixie of being a closer friend. :coolphoto: That is all. :ajsmug:

Until next time! :raritystarry:
