Since FamousLastWords and I went to Crystal Fair this weekend, we had to have some fun on the way back to our everyday lives. You can see us being idiots in the car over at Famous' blog post!

I am planning on doing a YouTube video on an analysis of the Crystal Empire. After briefly watching it yesterday, I realized that it didn't seem like it was 1,000 years old... And if it was, it seemed extremely advanced in its culture, language, architecture. However, I do not know much about this kind of fictional topic. Is it normal for it to be so advanced? I just love it when something I create inspires my readers. I'm absolutely overwhelmed when one of those readers likes a story so much that he gifts me with art for a scene that he wanted to see illustrated. I set of pony races heavily in tune and influenced by magic. Before the founding of Equestria, these ponies called the most powerful nation in the world their home. The Crystal Empire.
Types:
In the year 1436 BTH, some 1936 years before Twilight Sparkle rescued Princess Luna from her Nightmare, and three decades before the Migration of the Three Tribes had even begun, there was a regiment of Pegasus mercenaries in service to the Crystal Republic as foederati (allied auxiliary troops under their own leader and laws). As you know, this story has taken a lot of twists and turns over its lifespan, and more are on the way.
