Wow, two blog posts in as many hours . . . such is the price of horsefame.
Without any further ado, I present the lucky 13th entry into my Not-A-Contest:
Another random comedy.
Eh.
"I haz da problem."
Problem is that the story really doesn't come across as all that funny to me anymore. Still brings a smile, but it's not really funny anymore.
"Did you try turning it off and back on again?"
I am a self-employed computer tech, as such I have seen many strange things including an error message so rare I had to look through archival books just to find out what it even meant.
So, as it turns out, my hotfix I mentioned in the last blog wasn't so hot, and ⌘+i still turbofucks my entire writing flow, not only on Safari, but on Chrome, too. I have a better idea of what's causing it, and hopefully I'll have a solution before the night is out.
Hopefully.
Maybe.
Possibly.
So, you know that computer I have set up for archiving 5.25" floppy disks? That's my testbench system that I use whenever I need to set up a quick PC for something.
Specs:
Grab your favorite silly straw and a beverage I suppose; this one is gonna be a fun ride.
We’ll be talking about a late-model F250 with all the bells and whistles, and there’s gonna be some inexactness regarding codes and whatnot, ‘cause I can’t remember and couldn’t be bothered to look it up, and you’ll find out why as we get into this thing.
Here are some projects from Nicktoons that are in the works, which are expected to be seen soon.
I wans't gonna write an April Fool's fic this year.
And it’s time for a catchall blog!
We’ll start with work. Just last week, I diagnosed a bad PCM in a postal Jeep.
After several days, the new PCM arrived, and I got to use our new Chrysler-compatible scan tool to program it.
I'm currently collecting the resources to install a modded version of Windows 2000 on that computer, partially because in DOS there's very little support for hardware encode/decode of video, and partially because I can once again run Google Chrome 34 and troll Fimfiction like I did when the system had XP installed.
(Here's a little extra for the fans. This also helps me keep track of events in the timeline.)

I was planning on making a summer retrospective blog when I had the time, and maybe put out a few reviews on some of the many horse books I’ve accumulated throughout the pandemic. I’m almost as behind on those as I am with revising my to-be-printed works and writing my ongoing stories.
