Uh yeah I spent a few hours on this ngl
Wasn’t worth it
And I didn’t feel like line art or coloring so here is an...animatic(? I’m not sure what you would call this)
I present a very special original MLP animatic! The night before Hearts N' Hooves, Vinyl finds Octavia crying in her room. Attempting to make her feel better, she discovers some sad facts about her best friend that she can't ignore - or un-know afterwards.
It took me about a week, and it kind of shows...
I started on the 17th. The plan was to make it before Christmas, and to try to do as much of the song as possible.
By about... the 3rd day? I had about 14 seconds of animation. So I had to speed up pretty dramatically.
On the 5th I decided to cut it where I did (Wasn't ideal, but better than doing it any earlier) and today and yesterday I coloured it in.
Okay, so for the first cool YouTube video of the week, I'm featuring this excellent animatic recommended to me by my good friend FlutterBrony. Enjoy!
Hey, y'all. This has nothing whatsoever to do with me, but I wanted to signal boost this anyway. A friend of a friend is making a fan episode of MLP focusing on the CMC, and they're doing an open casting call! If you're interested, check out the details here.
A whole new song in a new animatic, and it looks fantastic! Spoliers below!!!
That....was...amazing. Who is that pony? One thing's for certain, this is from episode 24, The Mane Attraction. This is going to be epic!!!
I was bored, and so I decided to spoil myself, and watched this video:
First off, wow. That was beautiful. I really enjoyed that video, it was brilliant. A nice piano solo.
But, let's get down to buisiness.
That video was an animatic, released at SDCC recently. It's of a song featured in episode 24 of season 5.
Through here (http://web.archive.org/web/19970125093751/http://www.spe.sony.com/Pictures/tv/geeker/video.html) we get animatics from another short-lived Columbia TriStar series (this ran on CBS for just three months in the fall of 1996.)
Once again, the acting here is not particularly good.
Original link's gone now but we've got a new leaked MLP animatic from an artist who worked at Boulder Media a few years ago, featuring the Mane Six and two other ponies in what looks like a song sequence!
