Here are some projects from Nicktoons that are in the works, which are expected to be seen soon.
PINKY MALINKY
British/American show about a 12 year old middle-schooler (Lucas Grabeel) who also happens to be an anthropomorphic hot dog trying to climb up the ranks of the social ladder with two human friends Babs Buttman (Diamond White) and JJ Jameson (Nathan Kress, previously Freddie Benson on iCARLY). The show was created by Rikke Asbjoern and Chris Garbutt. from a short that he made in 2009 which was made by Cartoon Network Development Studio Europe. However, Cartoon Network rejected the show, and moved it to Nickelodeon, who green-lit a 20-episode season in 2015, with season two already in the works as of January 27, 2018, according to Asbjoern's Instagram account.
WHEN WILL IT AIR? It was supposed to come out in 2016, then that was pushed down to 2017, and now we await a day in 2018 when it will premiere.
GLITCH TECHS
A joint between two forces, FANBOY & CHUM-CHUM creator Eric Robles, and ROBOT CHICKEN writer Dan Milano, it follows the adventures of two kids battling video-game monsters that have found their way in the real world.
WHEN WILL IT AIR? Sometime in 2018.
RISE OF THE TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES
This sequel to the 2012 Nickelodeon reboot of the sewer-residing, cold-pizza-eating turtles intends to have them unlock mysterious secrets behind New York City.
WHEN WILL IT AIR? After a long, tenacious thought process, Nick will premiere this show in September of 2018.
AMUSEMENT PARK
As IMDB put it, the upcoming film of this name, slated for release in March 2019, is the "story of a girl, some animals, and a magic amusement park." Notably, the director of the movie was to have been Dylan Brown, but he was replaced by David Feiss because of allegations of sexual harrassment on Brown's part.
It's here because after the film's release, it is going to spawn a Nicktoon of the same name, only the third film from Nickelodeon Movies to do so (following JIMMY NEUTRON: BOY GENIUS and BARNYARD). As such, you can greatly expect Nick to promote this movie in much the same way they did the other films that got their own Nicktoons.
WHEN WILL IT AIR? Sometime in 2019.
Don't hold out hope for "Pinky Malinky". This is why I say this.:
Although this is mostly speculation, It does however hold a bit of truth. I wouldn't hold out hope for this show.
