It's been a while since I written another blog, and I'm here to tell you that one of the main reasons why Bitterness is only posting once a year aside from the daily grind of my job, I also been taking care of my dad who is recovering from liver cancer. It started back in 2016 when his doctor was diagnosed him with the cancer, but thankfully, my dad was lucky that the doctor caught the cancer on its early stages and were able to remove the tumor during surgery. Hey everyone. Just thought id get on here and lwt you guys know how my life has been going and whether or not I should just roll over and die now or not. Seriously this is going to be a sad post so dont rwad on if you dont want to feel bad.
So I recently got a new job that pays very well and then just got fired a few days ago from it. The reason behind it is I was constantly tardy or taking too many bathroom breaks.
Truly, my family is cursed.
I said all I needed to about my father in my previous blog. There’s nothing new on that front. And again, I don’t like talking about my problems. But I just don’t care at this point. When you need to kick something, you find a wall to yell at before breaking a toe.
What’s worse is that yesterday was a wonderful time. An extravagant fund raising party set up for my father. Exhausting, but a great time. We all needed it.
For those that don’t know or were unaware of the goings of the Minecraft community, a great YouTuber named Technoblade has passed away due to stage four cancer and well I’ll let this video speak for me
So, I was contacted by another author today, Clockwork2003, who find himself in a position that we, unfortunately, may all find ourselves in at some point in our lives: getting the dreaded cancer diagnosis.
We only exchanged 17k words via PMs in the past month since we first met online, but we’ve grown very close in that time. We told each other secrets that we’ve never told anyone else before. If there are soulmates out there, she surely was mine.
Okay...so it's been a real roller-coaster since about 2017.
2017 - my father has a major medical issue and lost some mental capacity and started down the road of dementia. We had to move him out of his basement apartment. I ended up with all his tools and his motorcycle in my garage clogging absolutely everything.
When I was very little, probably five, I would run home every day to watch Adam West's batman on public TV. I didn't have cable when I was very very little, but Batman was something I never missed. Every time, it would sign off: "Same bat time, same bat channel." I was incredibly and obsessively involved with this show, to the point where I would shout at the screen to try to help Batman or warn him of things. Oddly enough, from all my memories from that age, one sticks out in my mind

Way back in April of last year, I did a post talking about my mother's cancer diagnosis. While I was obviously saddened, I did not really dwell on it often in later posts. It was just one of those things that you gradually learned to live with, like any other health condition. My mother also was a real champ about the process, always keeping a positive outlook even while my father and I were growing more and more
I went to see my doctor, and he said there was no hope.
So I went to see my necromancer, and he said there was a ritual that would do it, involving sacrifices and a buttload of magical energy.
Guys, I... I'm going to be undead soon. I go in for my lich treatment next week. Hail the dark gods.

I got up at seven this morning and went to work at nine. No sooner than I had clocked in and started stocking, I got the call from my aunt. My mother, who has been fighting cancer for the last half year, has lost the battle.
My mother has passed away in her sleep.
I hope everyone understands when I say I will be absent for a time while arrangements are made and everyone grieves. Sorry for the further delays.
