So it comes to this... · 1:02am May 28th, 2019
It's been a while since I written another blog, and I'm here to tell you that one of the main reasons why Bitterness is only posting once a year aside from the daily grind of my job, I also been taking care of my dad who is recovering from liver cancer. It started back in 2016 when his doctor was diagnosed him with the cancer, but thankfully, my dad was lucky that the doctor caught the cancer on its early stages and were able to remove the tumor during surgery. Later on, the doctors recommend that he gets a liver transplant to be absolutely sure, this is where I come in.
By tomorrow he is getting a liver transplant and I'm donating a portion of my own to take care of him. Since livers can grow back and the sciences through it are improving, I decided about a year ago to become a donor by losing weight. I decided that it would be the ultimate father's day gift for him.
You can find more information about it by going to this link: https://www.americantransplantfoundation.org/about-transplant/living-donation/about-living-donation/living-liver-donation/
Now, my dad isn't a saint but he's not a bad person either, and because he looked after me through the toughest times. I thought it's about time for me to return the favor. If you got any loved ones that stuck by you through the thick and thin, the ones who will take a bullet for you, it's best to return the favor.
Anyways, wish me luck everyone. Here's a next step for a recovery.
Much good luck to you both, PLC.
I'll be keeping you both in my prayers.
God bless.
Good on ya man, sadly I don't have any loved ones like that though.
Good luck and I'm sorry what happened to your dad.
it's a good thing you are doing this.

Good Luck for both you and your Dad
We're with you in spirit good sir. Best of luck to you & father.
