Seriously, none of my other stories has even gotten close to this much attention before and for all I know, might never again. There's really not much to say about this one. Either you know this feeling, or you don't. It's a story about a story that won't leave your head until the words have been put to paper (or typed up).

The biggest challenge was that last line: editing this down to 1,000 words even. This is the first time I've done so (and probably the last too).

As I feared frankly expected, the chapters are still being split for length, so it's getting kind of hefty and we're looking to shoot for the 200k mark. I'm sure they'll get edited down a bit in rewrites, but probably not to the point where I can condense them back into singular chapters.
