It's turning out a lot longer than the original, which I'm glad for (looking back at the pacing and the characterization from the original..... yikes!!), but of course this means it will take me some time to write it properly as well.

Seriously, truly sorry about saying nothing for literally a month and a half. It's been... awkward lately. Not gonna get into any personal details, but just know that things are fine despite the nonsense. Writing slowed to a microcosm crawl, but I think I hit a breakthrough for a side chapter I was working on for "Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children" (thank you Season 7 box set!). Hopefully I'll be able to jump back into said chapter soon enough... provided that I actually get to work and not

So, for those who saw on my Discord, I was working on some art for the next chapter, but during a medical appointment this afternoon, I suffered a pretty bad seizure. This one hurt worse than most of my previous episodes and lasted longer than I would have expected.
Saying that I don't know how it will affect my quality of work. Maybe it won't, or maybe the lingering effects will come and go in stronger spikes than I can predict as this last episode did.

Whelp, I suppose I'm cursed! A few days ago I made the foolish choice to listen to the story of Kashima Reiko, a Japanese girl who died and is said to wonder the world in search of her legs. Now the story goes to say in the end, whoever listens or learns of the story will be cursed and Kashima will visit you in about a month. She'll ask me two questions, 1) Where are my legs? and 2) What's my name? And dammit I know I'll die from this but if I can't remember her name I'll be all like,

Yeah, it's another one of those weekends where I'm moving Stalk Me While I Write to Saturday instead of Sunday. This Sunday is the Gallifrey One staff meeting (not the earlier week, like I'd thought), so Tale Weaver and I are making an appearance to meet our new ConOps master boss.
