My interpretation of the CMC's new Cutie Marks:

While all three have the same BASE mark, each has a unique symbol relating to them. Applebloom and Apple, Scootaloo a lightning bolt, and Sweetie Belle a song note.

I believe this shows while all three have VERY SIMILAR base talents, ultimately it's not the SAME talent, merely like Flim and Flam they have talents that work best when combined.

I spend a lot of time thinking about cutie marks, and I get that that’s a little weird. Something about the concept feels idyllic, yet somehow within grasp. Cutie marks are emblematic of The Thing I feel is missing in our world of squishy humans, and the lack of them somehow feels like it’s at the root of every other important problem. Finally we get some Diamond Tiara character development as well as a bit for Silver Spoon as well. The music was good but like Magical Mystery Cure I felt it could have been told better as a regular episode. That being said Diamond Tiara's voice actress has a beautiful singing voice.

I just caught up to "Crusaders of the Lost Mark" and have not stopped shrieking with absolute glee since! This was epic! I feel like I've been waiting years for this, mainly because I have. I am so happy with how they got them, too. The writers totally did them right! Now to watch it again!

It's like a cutie mark. How do you know till you find it? I've honestly never felt more sympathetic to the cutie mark crusaders, the last one even more so than the two who get theirs first. My two best friends are going into vocal music and neuroscience. I'm the only one left.

I have many majors I'm looking at, but these are my top 3 with explanations.
