Jinglemas is an annual tradition on Fimfiction, where everybody who wants to participate puts their name and what they want in a story into a hat, they all get shuffled around by some mysterious process, and then you get to write a story that the other person wants for Jinglemas.
Grading Scale:
A (fantastic episode)
A- (an excellent episode with at least one flaw)
B+ (a great episode with a couple of flaws)
B (a good episode which still could have been better)
There are many writers here on my following list whose works I've read that I feel deserve more praise and follows. Today I'm starting some writer spotlights with a fimfic writer whose work is absolutely phenomenal.
BlueColton is an amazing writer who has many different types of fics. I've chosen to focus on the dark and horror ones.
Chitt-Chitt
Seriously, look at this guy's eyes. He was so close to watering up completely.
Gonna be honest, I had a similar reaction myself, not gonna lie. Holy crap, just think where everything goes from here now!
Because it's finally happening! Eeeeeee!
This is it! The story of Daring Do's continuing feud with Ahuizotl! The story of Button Mash's pursuit of a relationship with Sweetie Belle! The story of changelings and griffons, kidnappers and monsters, gods and mortals! The glorious return of all your favorite OCs from DayBreak! The epic conclusion to Part II of The Heart's Promise Continuity!
It'll take over a year to write, but hey, them's the breaks.
Today, it's exactly two years ago that I finished the first chapter of "Journeys and Destinations: A Friendship for Eternity", my first Cutie Mark Crusaders fanfiction, and that I sent it in to Equestria Daily for the Writer's Training Grounds for "Twilight Time".
And since then, I barely continued it, despite how much this story means to me.
This story has gone through some really crazy times.
I'm sure the fandom will take this well.
-Ten minutes later.-
Everything outside of Hasbro Studios has been burned down and the fans are ready to storm and raid the studio until the staff agrees to ship Big Mac with Cheerilee or Marble Pie.
Yep. They are totally taking this well. I don't foresee this being a problem in the near future at all. XD
Welcome to another edition of Read It Later Reviews. Today, I’ve got three stories that I had read previously, plus a story from a writer I had never encountered the works of on previous occasion and a Horse Voice story I hadn’t yet read.
Lots of interesting stuff going on lately. GaPJaxie’s got a contest going in collaboration with the folks at the Writeoff, and I for one intend to compete with a story I’ve had on my mind for a few months now. But this serves to remind me that I’ve not yet released a story for February, and one of my goals since July has been to release a story every month. There are many reasons for this, one
I hope it is brown sugar. Because there is a filly-sized amount of it coming your way:
I can't tell what I will write about her exactly yet. But I have a few intriguing ideas going through my head already and I will do more brainstorming on the weekend.
Expect more details about her fic soon.^^
The story 'The five confessions' is not dead, I just posted the next chapter not to long ago. I just haven't been able to get around to updating it with all that's been happening in my life. But I do not leave stories unfinished, so no matter how long it takes I will finish this story.
SWEETIE BELLE: "Wow. You just had to pause on that frame, didn't you? Look at my face! I look like you're creeping me out!"
RARITY: "You? What about me?!? Need I remind you that I ran an obstacle course covered in mud for you, my little sister?"
Rating Scale:
12/10—a complete masterpiece; flawless and outstanding
11/10—Excellent, near-perfect film
10/10—the standard rating; awesome film with a couple of flaws
9/10—a wonderful film with several flaws
8/10–a great film with numerous flaws but not enough to ruin it
Looking for one person who likes Battle of the Blanks for proofreading, and feedback. Basically, I need a test reader.
I remade the first three chapters and I need some feedback before I continue. I can PM them or send them a word doc file to whatever email address you want.
I also need the reader to agree to not spoil any of the creative changes to others.. Konrad's intro has been radically changed.
Any takers?
APPLE BLOOM: "...I don't get it. Why this screenshot? It's not an especially memorable moment or image from the episode, nor does it sum up what it's about."

At least three possible story ideas occur to me after the most recent episode.
Hello again. Chapter 5 of Magic School Zord is done. This is the chapter I have been looking forward the most to writing. I love when Trixie and Corona interact. They are a great foil for each other. One thing I never expected is just how much Spike would grow to dislike Trixie. It isn't something I really planned, but I love how it worked out. Trixie is very bad at meeting people. Every first encounter seems to go poorly somehow.
