I've released my eggs story and it has not been well-received. But this is okay, because it is what I expected. 
Once again I got Prane and Gulheru with me to review another episode! So that episode was basically Yaks smashing everything, right? Yeah basically with some other things. Because if it's not perfect, Yaks don't like it!!! SMASH! So wanna see less smashing and more reviewing? Get it below!
I've been putting this off for a while now, but now that the submission period for The Discovery contest is closed, I figure it's high time I did a little chatting about the creative process behind the story and such.

Well. Fuck yaks, first of all.
I will give the episode this. It added infinitely to the reservoir of freaky Pinkie faces, and that's never a bad thing. Also, return of Cherry Jubilee, which ain't bad. No Cheese Sandwich, though; I thought I saw mention of him being in this one.
And Beatles reference. Friend of mine would appreciate that one.
It's so strange of me to read that blog title back, seeing how I never skip an episode of MLP in case I miss out on a good lesson or comedy. Yes, even Starlight Glimmer episodes (tempted as I've been).
But the moment I read the premise for She's All Yak:
I'd never been more disinterested.
So, I’m not the most creative when it comes to naming things. Which is going to be a problem when I’m making characters. Some species like the griffons and yaks I can handle. The ponies and dragons are a little more difficult. And the hippogriff and changeling leave me completely stumped. I’m willing to hear a way to help think of some names, like a name generator I haven’t come across. If you can think of a way, please let me know.

I've always enjoyed the Student 6 than it seems most people do on this website (although that's just among the sample size of bloggers I follow). But I never expected to be cheering this much Yona. In her montage, Yona is never spontaneously inept at something, and the strides felt objectively obtainable, just requiring rigorous work. And she works her butt off and attains it.
