So for those who don´t know, today disney has released the teaser trailer for the new film Encanto, a movie set in Colombia and it looks very very good.
Can we talk about this for a second? The landscapes are so bright and colourful (just like Colombia is) and the music sounds great with songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda (one of my favourite artists of all time 
).
Today, January 10, 2022, marks the 2nd anniversary of the critically acclaimed series created by Dana Terrace. Not only does it have an incredible story and well-written characters, but it also made groundbreaking history for having proper LGBTQ+ representation in a Disney series.
So, this is a topic I’ve wanted to discuss for awhile and it’s ponies and disabilities. Yes, we are shown some and hit struggles in the show but I do wish there was a little more. Seeing Scootaloo grow and persevere despite not being able to fly. Kerfuffle missing a leg. Ponies with back leg wheels because they don’t have use of their legs. Derpy having a problem with her eyes and coordination. It is all so nice to see and a breathe of fresh air. I just wish there was more of it. Pinkie is
As much as I understand the adoration everyone has for Scoots’ confirmed queer aunts, which is great to see so casually added on the show and not just kept discreetly away in the “maybe/maybe not canon” books..
I’m shocked how little there is in appreciation of another confirmed on-show queer character
Rolling Thunder is an amazing character, loving all about her from design, to voice and attitude.

I've always enjoyed the Student 6 than it seems most people do on this website (although that's just among the sample size of bloggers I follow). But I never expected to be cheering this much Yona. In her montage, Yona is never spontaneously inept at something, and the strides felt objectively obtainable, just requiring rigorous work. And she works her butt off and attains it.
This highly-awaited moment from the 20th episode of The Owl House season 2, Clouds on the Horizon, made me scream so loud with joy. As Hooty said, "They're adorable and deserve all the happiness".
I'm glad I made the right decision and OMG, what an amazing show Dana Terrace has ever created! Throw in the fact that it's the first ever Disney animated series to have an LGBTQ+ character as the main protagonist. Absolutely groundbreaking! I also appreciate that Luz Noceda is of Dominican descent and it's so refreshing to see representation of Hispanic culture.
