So, this is a topic I’ve wanted to discuss for awhile and it’s ponies and disabilities. Yes, we are shown some and hit struggles in the show but I do wish there was a little more. Seeing Scootaloo grow and persevere despite not being able to fly. Kerfuffle missing a leg. Ponies with back leg wheels because they don’t have use of their legs. Derpy having a problem with her eyes and coordination. It is all so nice to see and a breathe of fresh air. I just wish there was more of it. Pinkie is obviously coded bipolar for example, Twilight OCD, Rainbow either ASD or ADD/ADHD are other coded examples. Mud Briar and Maud are also coded ASD to some extent. I just wish they had shown a little bit more. It would’ve made for some great special episodes. Keep in mind, I’m not fussing or complaining and actively enjoyed the representation we were given. I’m just saying I wish there was a little more. That’s really about it. See you in the next blog, adios!

Though, Scootalloo, I like to think she's just a late bloomer
