You may have noticed that I've sort of been... missing. Missing might be the word. Being even worse at answering chat messages, e-mails, phone calls, carrier pigeons, and the odd note stuck to my front door with a jeweled damascene dagger (you know who you are).
Let me explain.
Well thought I would continue the trend of Eternal Shadows characters that appear here. (Next week I will be doing one from a story I like instead of one I am writing)
So this week's Character is actually a carry over from my original fallout fic Brave Dawn that was cancelled, though she won't be introduced until a few chapters down the road.

Have you ever wanted to play a game based on the writing of HP Lovecraft that still wasn't a rehash of one of his stories. Well, this is the closest I've found so far. There are games based on his stories, and games that use his stories as a script, yet, to me, this game gets the feeling so much closer to reading one of his stories.
So apparently this is something I'm doing these days. Talking about Tabletop RPGs and their associated Kickstarters that I'm interested in. Today I'm bringing Torg: Eternity to your attention.
Every year, on her birthday, Princess Twilight Sparkle receives a visitor in a funny blue box. The Doctor, or Doctor Whooves. Every year, at the same time. They have tea, maybe a jump to another time or place, and then they return.
Finally, a thousand years after the events of the MLP Finale, Twilight finally asks the question.
Twilight: "... How do you do it?"
Doctor: "Hm?"

Halloween Knights...Sounds like the name of a Disney Channel Mobile Game.
My treasured watcher OC's, the Eternal Knights, Luna's personal bodyguard, White Wolf, Midnight Blade and Fletcher Fray dressed up for Halloween.
Wolf's a Werewolf. (Technically it's a Folewolf. Very important)
Midnight's a Vamponies.
And Fletcher's a Spectral Steed.
TLDR: I am back to working on the story, my SSD died and wiped all the notes and planning I had for the story, setting me back quite a lot, but I've returned to working on it!

In this case, I've been reading a lot of ponyfics lately, including many old ones from my list of favorites, that I hadn't read in years. I've been reminded of stories that I had almost forgotten about, and reacquainted myself with ones that I've read several times over already. And over and over again, I'm surprised and impressed and thrilled by how good they still are.
